Time is such a weird thing. On one hand, 2022 flew by in such a flash but on the other hand, it felt like a long year with all that we did!
Here's a look at our 2022...it was full of fun adventures.
January - we didn't do too much since we had just taken a Disney Cruise. We did celebrate my birthday and did a few Jeep things.
February - Texas got snow!!! Nate worked the ice crew again at work so it was just Mason and I at home for a few days. We also adventured to Ruidoso to show my sister and her family one of our favorite places.
March - we didn't do much. Looks like most of March was spent working on the chicken coop, getting new chickens, and making new signs for the coop! We did make a trip to Canton First Monday. That's where I got the new chickens. We did some spring cleaning on the porch and yard, took several backroads Jeep drives, grilled out, and just enjoyed some time at home.
April - we made several drives to Bristol to look at the Bluebonnets, celebrated Easter, went to Good Friday Service, celebrated Easter again, spent many evenings on the porch, had a date night to Farmluck and to the lake to watch the sunset, went to the Ranger game with friends, and celebrated NeNaw's 84th birthday with a fiesta.
May - celebrated Mother's Day, got to meet-up with my childhood best friend, went to another Texas Ranger game, went to Go Topless Jeep Weekend at Crystal Beach, celebrated Mason's 12th birthday, went camping at Stillwater Resort in Tyler, TX, and Mason had a day with his aunt & uncle.
June - many Jeep events, Mason and I took a topless Jeep drive out to see the sunflowers (Nate was working OT that day), Mason and I started getting up early before work and school to spend time together
July - took Mason to the Stranger Things Pop-Up, rode with the Jeep club in the 4th of July parade, spent the 4th of July at my aunt's lakehouse, went on a cruise to Cozumel and Progresso, got a new family member, went on a day date with Nate,
August - had our Jeep Girl Mafia 1 year anniversary (and was announced once of the Vice Presidents of the club), went on another cruise for our anniversary,
September - celebrated Grandparent's Day, went camping again at Stillwater Resort, attended the most EPIC Hocus Pocus 2 watch party
October - we had a cattle-drive in our hometown on the square, went to Screams haunted houses, decorated my porch for autumn, Mason and I had our annual Hocus Pocus movie night and our annual trip to the sweetest little pumpkin patch, went to the pumpkin patch with our friend group, went camping at Great Escapes for the Halloween Spectacular, Trick or Treated at the town square, went to a Halloween party at NeNaws
November - surprised Mason with his favorite basketball players jersey and tickets to see them play against the Dallas Mavericks, went to said game, had Thanksgiving with NeNaw at her place, had Thanksgiving with the family, checked off a life bucketlist item and went to Branson for their Christmas everything
December - took Mason to his first Stars game, took our annual camping trip to Palestine, TX to see the Grinch and ride the Polar Express, went to another Star's Game, had our 8th annual ladies' baking party, went to Nate's work Christmas gathering, visited the Gaylord and went to ICE, had our first annual FRIENDSMAS, went to Santa's Country Christmas, went to Board and Brush with coworkers, had our cookie decorating party, had our annual Christmas tree campout, went to Christmas Eve candlelight service, had Christmas Eve at Mimi and Papas, Christmas morning at home, Christmas Day at Nana and Papas, and then went camping for a week in Broken Bow, OK. (haven't blogged this yet).
2022 - you sure were good to us! Can't wait to see what adventures 2023 will bring.
