{29 Weeks}

Our sweet baby boy is now 29 weeks!!!

That's 203 days, 4872 hours, 292,320 minutes that you have been with us Mason!! Most spectacular 292,320 minutes of my life!!

Such a sweet and happy boy at 6 - almost 7 months old. You love to smile and laugh. You rarely ever fuss anymore unless you are hungry or tired. You know who your Mommy and Daddy are, that's for sure. Daddy admitted that he thinks you are going to be a Mommy's boy. I think so too, but shhh! You love your Daddy just as much, though. I love holding you in the evenings and waiting for Daddy to walk into the door. I love to see you both light up when you see each other. Makes my heart all warm and fuzzy!!! You two are my world.

Let’s see, at 28 weeks...

-You give "lovins" Meaning, BIG tight hugs where you even squeeze a little and kisses too!

- You love any toy that lights up and makes sound. We got you a "Rudolf" from Build-A-Bear and you were soooo excited when we brought it home to you. Made Daddy and Mommy so happy!

- You are getting great at “copying” things that Mommy and Daddy do.You make all the same sounds that we do.

- You love to “bounce" and are very hard to hold these days.

- You are taking steps when holding your hands

- Still love your toes.

- Your hair is still growing like crazy.

- Sleeping has been great. You have been so easy to put to bed and sleep really good.

- Still doing well with the solids.

- When on your stomach you’ve gotten into the “crawl” position a few times.

- You love to sit up on your own and play with your toys.

- You've been taking baths with Mommy. So much fun!

- As for clothes – most of your pants are size 6-12 months, 9 months and 12 months, shirts are mostly 12 months, pajamas are mostly 12-18 months. Mommy still loves to dress you. And I know Daddy does too!

- In size 4 diapers now

{Being a Mommy...Part Seventeen}

means making bottles in your sleep!

{Being a Daddy...Part Ten}

Means eating a cold meal every once in a while because your son is more important than that double cheese burger.

{2009 - 2010}

My Mother-in-Law is great about giving out "Sentimental" gifts. Last year she got an ornament of a "Peanut" since that's basically what Mason was in my tummy. This year she got us a "Snowman Family" ornament and I love it. Makes me smile. So happy Mason is here to share the 2010 Christmas with us!!!

{What's in my purse?}

Monday mornings are quite interesting when I look through my purse. By Sunday night I am too tired to clean out my purse from the things that found their way in over the weekend. This Monday I found:

I love being a Mommy!!!

{28 Weeks}

Our sweet baby boy is now 28 weeks!!!

How did this happen??

That's 196 days, 4704 hours, 282,240 minutes that you have been with us Mason!! Most Magical 282,240 minutes of my life!!

Mason, Mason, Mason – your Mommy has been an emotional wreck lately. Everything you do makes me cry! But in a happy way. I am so proud of the little boy you are becoming. You are so sweet, so lovable and so very smart. You amaze Daddy and I everyday. You make us wear permanent smiles. I can’t even describe what you do to this Momma’s heart. So much has been going on lately and it just keeps getting better and better. We love making memories with you. Especially right now, with the holidays – Momma is all about starting traditions. I must be wearing your Daddy plum out! But hey, it’s your first year so they have to start now. Right?

You are getting very attached to Mommy and Daddy these days. You love your Daddy, but I am about 99.9% sure you are going to be a Momma’s boy! Sorry Daddy!!!!! I love it, though. You fuss when I leave a room and light up when I enter a room. This makes my heart all warm and fuzzy.

Let’s see, at 28 weeks...

- You love to cuddle and I soak it up!

- You give BIG tight hugs where you even squeeze a little and you give kisses too!

- You have a stuffed Elephant that we named Eddie (for good reasons) and you absolutely adore it. We think you will be attached to it for years to come. Or maybe Mommy is just hoping so because it’s Oh.So.Cute.

- You love the lights on the Christmas tree and the Christmas lights on the house, but your favorite is your Sock Monkey Stocking that sings and lights up. Every time we turn it on it’s like you are seeing for the first time. Your face lights up! It’s such a beautiful site. Everyday after work Mommy grabs you, gives you hugs and a million kisses (sorry, blame it on your cheeks baby) and plays with you a bit, then we go over to your stocking and have a gleeful time!

- You are at the stage right now where you know where your “Security” is. Some things are frightening you and you tightly grab on to Mommy and Daddy. Like this weekend a loud Motorcycle drove by us in Grapevine and you buried your head in my chest and squeezed me tight. I secretly thank that Motorcycle-man. And you only want to go to familiar faces right now.

- You are getting great at “copying” things that Mommy and Daddy do.

- You love to “bounce” and it’s still in once piece, somehow.

- You are taking steps when holding your hands

- Still love your toes. Which has kept you from rolling over from back to stomach. You get ¾ the way there and then stop and grab your toes. O’well it’s cute!

- Your hair is still growing like crazy.

- Sleeping has been okay this week, not the best, but okay. You are kicking, twisting, punching and turning like a mad man. It’s hard to get your legs to wind down to go to sleep. Last night was much better than the previous 3 nights. Yay!

- You love to eat! You want everything that Mommy and Daddy has. You also love to drink from a straw. You’ve recently discovered Sherbet ice cream and love it. You’ve also had the inside of Mommy’s French fries and liked it pretty well.

- When on your stomach you’ve gotten into the “crawl” position a few times.

- You love to sit up on your own and play with your toys.

- We tried your duck bathtub again and SUCCESS. At first you wanted to fuss, but Mommy started splashing water and showing you that it was fun and you were good to go.

- As for clothes – most of your pants are size 6-12 months, 9 months and 12 months, shirts are mostly 12 months, pajamas are mostly 12-18 months. GQ Baby, I tell you!

- In size 4 diapers now

{Oh how I LOVE this boy}

After our day in Grapevine we came home and hung out a bit. Mason was in such a great mood and we had a blast playing, I mean eating. :)

Oh man how I love this boy, and this video!

{Magical}

This past Sunday we went to Grapevine with the whole Hall crew for Mason's Nana's bday. It was so cold, but it was such a great time. We had lunch at Esparzas and then walked the Main Street shopping all the little shops. There were many great photo opps. We also rode on a wagon pulled by an Antique Tractor around Grapevine. It was cute! After the tractor ride Nana, Papa, Uncle Ty, Mommy, Daddy and Mason rode the North Pole Express. It's hard to put into words how much fun it was. It was MAGICAL! The whole feeling of it was amazing and made it feel like Christmas-time. I cried like a baby watching Mason. They play songs, sing and dance and it was great. Mason had so much fun. I love making these memories with him. Mason got to meet Santa again!

Many, many pictures.
