Texas got another February snow & ice storm! While we were anticipating the worst, it wasn't nearly as bad as last year. We at least kept our electricity this time, and temperatures didn't drop quite as drastically.
Nathan is on the de-icing crew at work, so he had to sleepover at the plant for a few nights. Nate's company cannot shut down so they work to make sure the sidewalks, walkways, parking lots, etc are in good shape for the employees that have to come in. They also make sure everything stays running smoothly. So, they get paid around the clock to be there during those days. It's hard work and cold, but Nate's good group of friends is all on the crew and they make it fun!
Mason and I hunkered down and just stayed cozy for the most part. We watched Netflix and stayed in pajamas as much as we could! We did get out for a little playtime.
We tried to get out the Polaris to play, but I think the cold weather zapped the battery! I couldn't figure out how to get to the battery to try to attach the jump box to it. Womp. Womp. We still had fun playing.
A couple of days later I got the Jeep out for some pictures.
All in all, it wasn't too terrible for us. It didn't last long and we managed!
