Our sweet baby boy is now 34 weeks!!!
(as of Tuesday, January 18 - Mommy's Birthday)

That's 238days, 5712 hours, 342,720 minutes that you have been with us Mason!! Most brilliant 342,720 minutes of my life!!

I don't even know what to say! My heart is busting out of my chest these days. Mason, you are a dream come true. Mommy and Daddy love you more than you will ever know. You amaze us everyday with new things you are learning and doing.

Let’s see, at 34 weeks...

-  Dada is still your favorite word!! You say it all the time and it never gets any less cute!
- You love to “bounce" and are very hard to hold these days.You hate to sit and always want to stand.
- You are taking steps when holding your hands
- Still love your toes.
- Sleeping has been great. You are taking 1 to 2 bottles throughout the night.
- You take a 6oz bottle about every 3 hours during the day.

- Still doing well with the solids.You eat 1 4oz jar at lunch time and 2 4oz jars in the evening most of the time. You don't really want anything to do with rice cereal in a bowl.
- When on your stomach you’ve gotten into the “crawl” position a few times.
- You love to sit up on your own and play with your toys.
- As for clothes – most of your pants are size 6-12 months, 9 months and 12 months, shirts are mostly 12 months, pajamas are mostly 12-18 months. It's getting cold so we're layering and dressing warm.
- In size 4 diapers

New this week:
- While driving to Aunt Leslie's house one morning we had a funny conversation;

Me: "Mason, can you say Mama?"
Mason: "Dada"
Me: "Mama"
Mason: (laughs)
Me: "Mama"
Mason: (whispering) "Dada, Dada, Dada"

Mason, I think you are playing me like a fiddle!!!!

- Although you will not say Mama, you are very much attached to me these days. You scream if I walk out of a room and do not take you with me. I can't get out of your site! I secretly love that you want me near you all the time!

- You've started saying "Hey". But only when you want to. You and Aunt Leslie went back and forth saying "hey" for a while one day!

- When at Nana and Papas you love to roll, roll, roll. You go from stomach to back to stomach to back, etc. You are all over the place. It's fun to watch!

{Moose Smashing}

Daddy just sent me this email and I had to post it here so that we'll remember these funny times!!!!

I was trying to figure out why I had bruises on my forehead this morning.  I forgot Moose smashed me with is magnets last night

{33 weeks}

Our sweet baby boy is now 33 weeks!!!

That's 231 days, 5544 hours, 332,640 minutes that you have been with us Mason!! Most spectacular 332,640 minutes of my life!!

Mason, you are such a little man these days. You have quite the personality and I love to see it come through in every little thing you do. You are silly and love to make Mommy and Daddy laugh. You make the cutest faces and you have your Daddy's grin! And just so you know, that's not good for Mommy!! hee hee. You are such a happy baby and hardly ever fuss. The only time you really fuss is when you're sleepy. You sure do know how to fight your sleep during the day! I know, I know Mommy and Daddy are THAT awesome that you are afraid you might miss something. Only kidding. Actually, is the other way around. Daddy and I don't want to miss one single minute of watching you!

Let’s see, at 33 weeks...

- You love to “bounce" and are very hard to hold these days.You hate to sit and always want to stand.

- Still love your toes.
Sleeping has beeng great once we get you to sleep. For a few nights this week you would sleep an hour then wake up crying. Mommy or Daddy would have to stand with you until you fall back asleep. You do this 2 times and then you're good for the night. It's heartbreaking to see you crying for no reason other than the fact you're sleepy!
You can do this for hours at a time at Nana & Papa's house. I guess they have better toys than we do at home!!
- You've been taking baths with Mommy. So much fun! You love to splash BIG splashes. We make a huge mess, but it's fun.
- As for clothes – most of your pants are size 6-12 months, 9 months and 12 months, shirts are mostly 12 months, pajamas are mostly 12-18 months. It's getting cold so we're layering and dressing warm.

New this week:
started taking 6 oz bottles. I know, that seems long overdue...but you would only take 4oz at a time and about every 2 - 2 1/2 hours. Now you take 6oz at a time and almost always finish it!
You love to kiss your stuffed animals!
- We started going to Aunt Leslie's in the morning so that she can watch you at her house. You are SO good for Mommy in the car and never fuss. So sweet!

(your eyes were still pitiful from the pink eye!!)

{Snow in Texas!}

On Sunday, January 9th we got a couple inches of snow!!! It was beautiful. I just wish I could have gotten a picture of my sweet boy in it. But he was not feeling well.

It started with his left eye. It was kind of red and swollen and had junk in it. Well, he took a 3 hour nap and when he woke up he couldn't open his left eye. We had to get warm water and wipe it down first. Before we knew it both eyes were at it. You could tell he was miserable, but he tried so hard to be a happy boy! I love him so much!

Monday morning I called and got him an appt with Dr Gold. Daddy and I both took off work to be with our sweet boy. The nurse weighed him before we went back to the room - 20lbs and 12oz. :) Love my big boy!

Dr. Gold checked his ears and said they were beautiful. He wasn't running fever, which was great. She said he had pink eye in both eyes and gave us a prescription eye drops. And I have to tell you, that was miracle in a bottle! After 1 day of putting the drops in he cleared up so much. By Wednesday it was gone! Whew!! I couldn't take it, his eyes being so sad looking. He's usually my big bright eyed happy boy!

After the appt we had some yogurt at Pinkberry!!

{Best Birthday Ever!!}

Today is hands down the best birthday I've ever had and all because I have my sweet baby boy to share it with!!!!

Masonbug, I love you so very much. You are the best part of me. You are the joy in my heart and the smile on my face. You are my favorite topic of conversation and my best snuggle buddy. I love your silly and happy little personality and your sweet, sweet heart.

I may not know what the future holds but I know that I will spend every last minute of it loving you and praying to God to make me the best Mother I can be for you.

I love you sweet boy!

{Momma, give that to me}

AND, this is what happens almost every time Mason sees me taking pictures!

He lunges for the camera and tries to take it out of my hands!!

{Momma's Boy!!}

{Such a strong boy!}

On Friday, January 7th Mason got the 2nd part of his flu shot. He was flirting and just smiling away at the nurse before the shot. She said he was making her feel bad (since she was about to poke him). Nate got to hold him for this one. She gave him the shot and his eyes got a little big so I started clapping and saying "Yay baby, you're such a big boy" and he just smiled and laughed! Such a big boy! I was so proud. I can't stand to see my baby cry or in pain. I was ready to cry with him and so happy we didn't have to go that route!

He's like, "What just happened here??" haha

Oh, that didn't hurt!

Let’s see, at 32 weeks...
-  You are still saying "Dada" like crazy! Pretty sure it's your favorite word. And you know to associate "Dada" with your Father. It's the cutest sweetest thing. You always have a huge smile on your face when you say it. We are still working on "Mama" but you usually just laugh at me. Now if I saw look at Momma or someone says something about "Mommy" you look at me. You just won't say it!

- You still love to watch and pull Diesels hair pet Diesel :)

- You love to “bounce" and are very hard to hold these days.You hate to sit and always want to stand.

- Still love your toes.

- Your hair is still growing like crazy.

- Sleeping has been great. You have been sleeping pretty good and only taking 1 bottle in the middle of the night. Normal bedtime is around 9pm and you sleep almost all the way through. And when I say you take 1 bottle you don't even open your eyes. You just fuss and let me know your hungry!

- Still doing well with the solids.You eat 1 4oz jar at lunch time and 2 4oz jars in the evening.

- When on your stomach you’ve gotten into the “crawl” position a few times.

- You love to sit up on your own and play with your toys.

New things this week:

- You move your mouth like you're having a conversation but no words are coming out. I love this! It's cutest thing. Every time I try to get a video you stop and become more interest in the camera. I will have to learn to be sneaky!

- You recently started "dancing" to your stand up toy that plays music. CUTE!!!!

Favorite toys right now - Stand up toy at Nana's and your "Mason" puppy dog. It says your name, your favorite color, favorite animal and favorite food!

{Our handsome boy}

Love those big blue eyes!

{Mason's new shades}

Too, too awesome buddy!

{Future Air Force Pilot?}

For Christmas Trent and Krista got Mason this super cool jacket! We can't wait to get the front patch embroidered to say "Moose" which is his nickname!!!

{Playing with Daddy}

One of Mason's favorite things to do these days is to sit in the floor and play with toys. One day Daddy put him in the basket and he thought it was so fun!

And I am sure there's lots more "playing" to be had since Mason scored all these new toys for Christmas:

(probably only a quarter of the toys)

And just because he's so darn cute!

{Mason spitting and talking}

Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh how I love this boy! He's the most awesome thing, EVER!

{Hilarious Video}

I laugh and laugh every time I watch this!!!! Kloe was not having Mason laugh while she was coughing!!

{New Years}

Friday morning we headed out to Abilene to visit Brower Power. The trip down was pretty nice. Mason slept for about an hour of it. We watched Ramona and Beezus and it was really cute. We arrived in Abilene around 1:30 that afternoon. We hung out for a bit at Trent & Krista's house then headed to dinner at our favorite Abilene restaurant, Famous Daves!! Mmmm! After dinner we went to the mall so that Trent could buy a remote controlled helicopter. :) That thing provided much entertainment over the weekend. The boys had so much fun with it. Kloe and Mason loved to watch it too. It had lights and made a noise, so of course Mason loved it. Of course. After the mall it was off to get fireworks for the boys. That evening we vegged out in our jammies and snacked on some yummy food Krista made. Then the boys caught the grass on fire a few times, shot off fireworks. Mason and Kloe got to hold sparklers. It was very cold, but fun! Saturday we hung out all day and talked and watched football. Sunday we headed back home.

I failed to take any pictures except these OH so cute pictures of Mason and Kloe!

Mason was trying to show off his muscles for Kloe :) hee hee!

Oh and a few I hijacked from Krista's facebook:
