{My Current Worship Playlist}

It's no secret that I love worship music! I work at home M-F and so more often than not I will crank up worship music on our Bluetooth speaker throughout the day. Worship music moves me down deep in my soul and helps me to not feel so alone. I love it so much! I thought I would share my current playlist with you all! Enjoy!

{This past weekend...}

Happy Monday!! We had a pretty eventful and emotional weekend, but it was wonderful. This past Sunday was our Pastor's last sermon at our church. He and his family have been called to do work in Illinois and they will be leaving in a couple of weeks. We are all sad, but we trust God's plan and understand the calling. We also had an Ordination ceremony for our Elders. After church on Sunday we had a lunch for both of the above things and it was amazing! I love how our church truly is one big family. Anyhow, here's a bit more about our weekend...

{Friday Five}

Happy finally Friday! It's been one of those weeks that drag out! All day on Tuesday I thought it was Wednesday. Mercy!! Not a bad week, just a long one. Anyone else feel that way? Well...it's been forever since I have written a Five on Friday post! Like since November. Whoa. Anyhow, here are my Friday five.

{Guys Behind the Blog // February}

Hall Around Texas Guys Behind the Blog

Wow, I am not sure how we are almost done with February. That month flew by in a flash. Time for the Guys Behind the Blog - February edition!! I love getting to feature Nate on the blog each month and always look forward to his answers! Most of the time I can predict exactly how he would answer them and sometimes he totally surprises me. Here are his answers for February's edition of The Guys Behind the Blog.

{$10 Target Challenge}

Time for one of my favorite link-ups, $10 Target Challenge {just a few days late...story of my life lately}. Target is for sure my happy place and I love any excuse to go shopping there. Sometimes, okay a lot of the time, I don't even make it past the Dollar Spot. But, this month? I totally did! I wanted to scope out the Easter section while it was still fresh on the shelves. Our Target is the only one across many cities so it gets picked over pretty dang quick. I had planned on getting Mason a plastic Easter basket and then making him a vinyl decal on my Cricut. But then I got to Target and everything changed....

{Three things // Currently}

I mentioned yesterday that I've been a little MIA and the only excuse I can muster up is life, man. It's been happening and blogging & social media have not! So what has been keeping me so busy? Well, a little bit of everything...

{This past weekend}

Happy Monday! It's a rainy and dark day over our way. We had some bad storms roll through in the middle of the night and today is just yuck! But, Mason has no school and Nate has a day off work. While I am working, I am happy to be at home with them. So, I kind of took a little unexpected blogging break. Actually, it's been radio silence across all social media platforms. The only excuse I have is...LIFE! We've had so much {good} going on and because of that I've had no time to blog or post to Instagram {I haven't posted on IG since Super Bowl Sunday...what?!}. Anyhow, I am ready to be back. While the break was somewhat refreshing, I do miss this space. Let's jump back in with a look at our weekend {another in which I failed to document by pictures!}...

{This Past Weekend...}

Well, that weekend flew by in a flash! But, the good ones always do, right? Our weekend was full of Jesus, friend and family time. I soaked up every sweet moment and now my heart and love tank is so full.  Here's a peek at our weekend...

{Little Letters // vol. 2}

I found the Little Letters link-up by Kristin at Taz and Belly's blog back in December and I couldn't wait to start linking up. I had so much fun writing my Little Letter's post in January and have been looking forward to February! If you haven't checked out this link-up I highly suggest it. It's so fun! Here are my letters for February.

{Our Month in Numbers // January}

Where did January go? Seriously! While I know we did more throughout the month it feels like it was the Youth Winter Retreat, my birthday, the Fort Worth Stock Show and Rodeo and then boom February. And now we are already 9 days into the new month. Time needs to slow down. Anyhow, here's a look at our January in numbers.

{The Kids Behind the Blog // February}

Time for the February Edition of The Kids Behind the Blog. This month is all about love and Valentine's Day! I can't wait to read these answers from everyone. Mason cracked me up this month! He isn't much of a Valentine's Day fan right now. I explained more below. Here are Mason's answers for this month...

{FREE Valentine fonts // Part 2}

HALL AROUND TEXAS FREE VALENTINE'S DAY FONTS

 Last week I shared some fun and free Valentine fonts. That post was dedicated to the all of the pretty cursive/handwriting/calligraphy fonts. Today it's all about the hearts and swirls. Sharing ten more free fonts you could use for Valentine's Day.

{This Past Weekend}

Another good weekend in the books! It was the perfect mix of productivity, relaxing and busy. It just went entirely too fast, like always. Here's a peek into our weekend...

{100 Days Smarter // 100th Day of School}

Today is the 100th day of school and Mason is officially 100 days smarter!!! For the 100th day Mason's school let them dress up as a 100 year old version of themselves. It was so much fun to put this together. It's hard to tell in these pictures, but he is sporting the perfect shade of gray hair! I learned from a teacher at PTO that you can buy a cheap can of dry shampoo and basically use the whole thing and it gives the perfect shade of gray/white hair! It really worked so well and it smelled good too! Beats the Halloween hair color spray hands down. I am so glad we kept those suspenders that we used a couple of Halloween's back! They were perfect for today's theme. I think Mason makes an adorable 100 year old!

{What we're reading // vol. 2}

Welcome to our 2nd round of "What We're Reading"! I loved co-hosting this with sweet friends last month. My 'to read' list grew by leaps and bounds. I can't wait to see what everyone is currently reading. The Hall family devoted most of January to reading the Bible, Bible stories, devotionals and Bible studies. I don't think much else was read beyond that and I am okay with that. Looks like February will mostly be spent that way as well.
