{Oh Fall...how I love you so}

Hello Fall...I warmly welcome you with open arms!!
There is something completely indescribable about Fall and the feeling that it brings.
I feel like I am a the very peak of happiness during this time.
Sweaters, scarfs, hot chocolate, fireplace, cuddling, holidays, family time, pumpkin patches...need I say more?
And you know what else I love...when people call the Fall season Autumn. {weird much?}
But I especially love that it's cool enough to get outside and play with our sweet little guy that would spend 24/7 outside if he could.

{Pumpkin Patch}

Mason has a little friend in his class named Tanner. They are just 1 month and 10 days apart and get along really well. They share, talk to each other and even hold hands. It's the cutest thing ever. It literally melts my heart to see them interact. I jokingly told Mason that Tanner was going to be his best friend one day...but looks like he's already establishing that on his own.

I've become friends with his Mommy and we talk every single day. It's amazing how much we have in common. Feels like I've known her for ages.
And after last Saturday - Mason and Tanner's Daddy's are friends too!
It's greatness!!
I'm so excited to have met some friends that have a boy Mason's age and that we can go out and do family things together with.

I love that Mason is making friends at such a young age. Friends he will continue the years with.
We both plan on keeping our boys at FCA through the 3rd grade, then they will venture out to public school together. Our town is really small and only has 1 elementary, 1 junior high and 1 high school. Our school right now offers schooling through the 3rd grade. I'm hoping that by the time our boys get to that point they will also offer 4th and 5th grade...then they can start public school at the Junior High level.

Anyhow..
We went to Country Critters Farm with our new friends last Saturday.
I can't even begin to describe how much fun the boys had.
 First up was the ginormous pumpkin that they both found hilarious!
How cute are they?
They kept slapping it and laughing!
In this area there was also a bean bag toss, picture opp props, and a chicken coop.

Next up was the playground!
Mason's first time down a slide....and he LOVED it!
They also had this wooden choo choo train...and Mason is kind of in love with them.
Needless to say, it was hard to get the boys off and away from this!

I think it took a promise of looking at "Tractors" to get them off the train!
Next up was petting zoo and horseback riding.
Mason wasn't the least bit scared of any of the animals. Walked right up to them.

The rest of the afternoon involved

A little bonding time:

Playing with stick ponies...

A hayride

Picking out pumpkins...

Hanging out in the parking lot...

And of course making new friends!!

Ohhh Pumpkin Patch...you delivered. And now I am more excited about Fall.
Bring it!
