{Weekend Wrap-up // Cattle Drive, Screams, Cleaning, & Football}

 Happy Monday!! We had a pretty chill and low-key weekend and I am okay with that. From here on out, our weekends will be filled to the brim with all things fall, Halloween, and then Christmas festivities start! I am here for it, though! This is hands down my favorite time of year!! Here's a look at our weekend.

Friday //

We went to a cattle drive in downtown Waxahachie!! It's the kick-off to some big races in our county. We didn't get to go last year, so I am glad we were able to make it happen this year. It was short and sweet, but still a good time. We ran into our sister in law there and got to hang out with her for a while. We got there a bit late and didn't get to get the spot we wanted but we made the best of where we were able to get.

Downtown Waxahachie looks so pretty right now! They have so many pumpkins and fall foliage!!

Then we came back to the house and Mason got out his Polaris for a bit! He's big time into drifting and he's made himself a track out in the back forty! He rode for a bit while Nate and I watched. Then Nate took it for a spin!

Mase was watching Nate ride the Polaris from Nate's mower and I couldn't get over how big and grown he looked!! I grabbed a couple of candid photos before he caught me and then of course I got nothing but goofy faces from that point on.

After watching the boys on the Polaris, I went to the chicken coop to put out some feed and collect eggs. Most of the trees on our property are out in the area of the chicken coop! I love the fields of yellow leaves out there and makes it feel like fall (even if it's 90 degrees in Texas).

That evening we met our dear friends Keri & Michael for dinner and then haunted houses! I won a 4 pack of tickets to Screams -  a big Haunted House park out here in Waxahachie. I'll share more on this later, but we had a complete blast!!

Saturday and Sunday were filled with football, cleaning, and hanging out at home. I  had a terrible migraine on Saturday that had me feeling pretty puny. We watched the OU/Texas game and our Sooners suffered a terrible loss! I'm still not over it. We spent the rest of the day cleaning the house. Sunday was much of the same - more cleaning, grocery shopping, laundry, etc. Sunday evening, Mason and I had our Hocus Pocus night!!
