{December 2022 // Goals)

Last month I shared some goals on the blog for probably the first time. Well, the first time in a long time. I think I might keep this up! Here's a look at both what I accomplished/didn't as well as new goals for the month of December.

Personal:
✓ Drink at least 16oz of water daily. I know this seems small, but it's big for me. Water isn't usually the first thing I grab when I'm thirsty.

✓ Make my bed daily (This starts off my day so well! I feel like I will have a more productive day if I make my bed first thing. Plus, I love making the bed before I start my Bible study)

✓ Read before bed - instead of scrolling social media (I've been reading my Bible before bed and then I read my book after Nate goes to bed)

✓ Continue to wake 1-2 hours early every morning (I've never ever been a morning person so this is wild to me. I love waking up early and having that quiet time before work. I've actually been waking 2-3 hours early and that extra time is so sweet to my soul)

✓ish Get up from desk every 15-30 minutes - refocus my eyes and move my body! (Maybe not every 15-30 minutes, but I did make myself get up more throughout the day!)

X Try a couple new recipes - Macy Blackwell has so many I want to try!

✓ Clean/organize at least one area daily

Cook the Hello Fresh meals we get each week and stop letting some of them go to waste!

Family:

X Go on a date with Nate

✓ Go on a date with Mase - We had several early morning coffee dates together! I love the quiet time with him in the mornings!

✓ Go to a Mavericks game - surprise Mason (we pulled off this epic surprise and it was so worth it! I shared about this here)

Spiritual:

✓ Continue to read Bible every morning (Still going strong with this one)

✓ Pray more throughout the day

✓ Find a good study on prayer (I loved the Dangerous Prayers plan on the Bible app and our church's series as well. I also found two great Bible Plans on the Bible app - one is prayers for your husband and the other is prayers for your son)

Blog // Social Media // Apps:

✓ Post more consistently on the HallAroundTexas IG and IG stories

Continue to take videos daily for the One Sec A Day App (I've tried this one so many times and keep failing. I think it's time I hang up my hat on this one.)

✓ Blog 3-4x a week

X Jump back on the JeepAroundTexas IG and post - Apparently I still need a break from this space!

✓ Post about recent camping spots on CampAroundTexas IG
