{Spring Flowers & Garden // March 2021}

Bring on the flip-flops, green grass, blooming flowers, and singing birds.

 

 

There is something so refreshing about springtime. To me, it's a time of renewal, joy, and hope. The sun is shining, the birds are chirping, the flowers are blooming, and joy is overflowing. I just love this time of year. Spring wakes up the creative side in me and I want to work on all the projects (chicken coop). Every spring we give our porch and yard a refresh and update. Picking out spring flowers is so therapeutic to me. This year I picked up the following:

• spring cactus
• marigolds
• succulents
• sweet william
• sweet potato vine

I also picked up several of these fun little gardening kits to try out! 

We also have the big garden going in the back forty! Nate's dad tends to the garden and did all the planting, but it's on our side of the property. Sure hope the cantaloupe and watermelon take off. YUM! 

And last but not least, our Irises have bloomed all over our property. We usually have purple and white, but I haven't seen any white Irises bloom yet.
