{Waxahachie Wednesday // Meet Georgie Boy’s Ice Cream}

 There’s a new scoop on the block, and this small-town girl is smitten! Last weekend, Nate, Mason, and I made our first visit to Georgie Boy’s Ice Cream, right here in Waxahachie...and let me tell you, it’s become an instant family favorite.

Where you can find them:

Georgie Boy’s sits at 1107 Ferris Ave, Suite 102, just beside Marco’s Pizza in the heart of town.

Open daily with generous hours:
Mon–Thu: 1–9 PM 
Fri: until 10 PM
Sat: from noon/2 PM–10 PM
Sun: noon–10PM

This locally owned spot specializes in small‑batch, premium hand‑scooped ice cream. Flavors rotate weekly, but they often include delicious classics plus creative specialties...like “Butterflies & Zebras” and refreshing peach ice cream. They even offer vegan and dairy‑free options, making it sweet for everyone. You can even order sampler buckets (think up to 24 scoops!) for big celebrations. 

We loved how bright and cheerful the shop felt. It’s a cozy space with that hometown charm...just enough seats to sit and enjoy, though I can see why people grab it to-go and take it to nearby parks or spots like Waxahachie Lake.

Mason got the Butterflies and Zebras, which was strawberry nesquik with golden oreos! He said it was amazing!!
