{Thrifted Thursday}

Welcome to the very first edition of Thrifted Thursday here on Hall Around Texas! I'm so excited to kick off this new series and share all of my fun and budget-friendly finds each week—whether it’s pieces I’ve styled at home, favorite thrift stores I visit, or just a peek at what’s coming home with me.

There’s something so satisfying about the thrill of the hunt when thrifting, don’t you think? This week’s haul did not disappoint!

My first stop of the day was a smaller local thrift store and y’all… jackpot! I scored a brand-new pair of Reef sandals for just $10 (yes, really!). I also found a Texas Rangers t-shirt for Mason, a fishing shirt for Nate, and grabbed a couple of cute tops for myself. The best part? My total came out to around $30. Not bad at all for a mix of name-brand and new-condition goodies.

Then I decided to swing by a second thrift store, and I’m so glad I did! This stop was full of fun home decor and more clothes we’ll definitely use. I picked up a tiered tray, a charming farmhouse-style metal tin storage piece, a pair of pants, a necklace, two brand-new pairs of shorts for Mason, and a few extra shirts.

This haul came in at $50, and every single item felt like a steal. Maybe it’s because we just got back from an amazing Memorial Day trip, but I am definitely in my red, white, and blue era—and I’m not mad about it. Give me all the stripes and patriotic color schemes, please!

Are We Still Decorating Tiered Trays?

Because I definitely am. I love rotating seasonal decor on mine and adding little themed touches throughout the year. Tiered trays are such an easy way to bring personality to a space without going overboard. Plus, they’re just fun to style!

And that metal tin storage piece? I’m not exactly sure what I’m going to do with it yet, but it was way too cute to leave behind. I’m toying with the idea of using it for fresh chicken eggs—how cute would that be in a farmhouse-style kitchen?

Thanks for coming along on this week’s Thrifted Thursday adventure! I’d love to hear what kind of treasures you’ve been finding lately. Are you team tiered tray too? Let me know in the comments!

Stay thrifty,
- Crystal
