{Five on Friday // August // Pt 3}

Happy finally Friday! I mentioned on Instagram that I've had a week full of Mondays, and that's exactly what my week has been like. Work has been insane, Mason started school on Wednesday and I haven't been getting much sleep at all. And if you know me then you know how heartbroken I am over school starting (dramatic much?) and how much I love my sleep. ha. Praise God that it's Friday!!

I'm sure it goes without saying, but because of everything I mentioned above, I have been the worst blogger this week. I only managed to hit that publish button twice this week. But, we went to the beach and Mason started school, so there's that!

Weekend Wrap-up - Beachin
Mason's first day of Third grade

Nathan and I decided that the first day of school called for an ice cream for supper kind of evening/celebration. A new rolled ice cream place called Frost Bite just opened in our town and we have been wanting to try it. It was fantastic!! Nathan got Milk & Cookies, I got a Sticky Situation (lots of caramel and peanut butter) and Mason got the birthday cake.

Mason's uncle recently got the ISD police position in Mason's district and he's at Mason's school! Mason is ecstatic, to say the least. He got to sit in Ty's police car the other evening and he has big hopes of getting to ride to school with him one day when the craziness of the first couple of weeks passes! He loves getting to see him throughout the day and I think it brings him comfort just knowing that he's there at his school.

Last night we went to our neighbor's house to play with the Jeeps for a bit. He has a part of his land that is fun for Jeepin'. I rode with Nate in the Rubicon but got out to take pictures when he and Mason took the CJ. Can I just say that I am officially ready for fall and cooler temps now? I got 21 (that I could count) mosquito bites in less than 10 minutes while standing out there videoing/taking pictures. UGH!

Tomorrow these babies celebrate 12 years of wedded bliss! TWELVE years! And in November we'll celebrate 22 total years. Oh, how I love this man so. There's not a day that passes that I don't thank the look for bringing this sweet man into my life. He blesses me in more ways than I could ever count.

Nathan, Happy 12 years my love. Thank you for all that you bring to my life and for loving me so well. I can't wait to see what the next 82 years bring us! I love you!!

Happy weekend! Hope it's a good one.
