7:57 🌵 Wake up in a panic because I remembered that my co-worker had an appointment and I am going to cover for her while she's out. While I'm not late by any means {just have to walk into my office}, but I like to log in a little bit earlier since I'm working for two. So I get up, use the restroom, wash my hands, brush my teeth and go to my office. At that point, I was 13 emails deep in my co-worker's email and 11 in mine. I lit a yummy candle, put on my big girl panties and got to work! ha
10:15 🌵 Co-worker is back and now I only have to worry about my own clients and emails. I hear a bunch of ruckus in the living room and learn that Lexi is having a blast with her tennis balls. When we moved the couches yesterday we found several of her balls. She was so excited. A bit later I realize it's awfully quite and go to the living room to check things out. I see this...
Sweet girl was worn out but didn't want anyone to take her balls away.
11:30 🌵 Mason is hungry and asks for a lunch tray. He is such a fan of divided trays with random things in them. And yes I did bust out with the candy corn. I mean, if school has to start next week then I might as well get my fall on.
2:00 🌵 Mason asks me to video a short clip for his YouTube channel. I love to hear him talking on these videos. He is entirely too cute and sounds so grown and professional. How lucky I am to be his personal videographer.
2:10 - 4:00 🌵 work, work, work. It was a busy work day! I think August is always a busy time of year for us. Everyone wants to get their direct mail out before school starts. I better get used to the busy because I am about to be covering for my co-worker for 11 or 12 days! Yikes. Anyhow, while I worked Mason set-up shop in my office with the laptop. He said he was working, too! ha. Sure going to miss these days with him.
4:00 🌵 swept the house, organized my home office a bit, went through several backpacks of Mason's things {he packs one for every trip, but conveniently forgets to unpack them once we are home}, I also had bags from things like the Off-road expo and PTO expo and Bring Your Kid to Work Day that I needed to cipher through, let the dogs out, fed the dogs, preheated the oven for supper and then I organized all of Mason's school supplies for Meet the Teacher on Thursday. I shouldn't have done that. I sat there and balled my eyes out. How do I have a third grader??
5:03 🌵 Went outside to check the mail and saw this...
Somebody is a little excited for Halloween and Fall.
5:50 🌵 Finally sit down a minute to check my Ipsy bag out. It's okay. I got another brush they've already sent me, just in another color, a tinted lip balm, volume spray, a tiny tube of Mac mascara and a Trust Fund Beauty ligloss in the shade of Evil Genius. I don't understand why I keep getting dark red lipstick. #toopale I've adjusted my profile a couple of times, but I still get it. O'well. I'll find someone to give it to.
7:30 🌵 Nate went out to work on his and Mason's project and I played with the dogs for a while. I was cracking up over how Mason would beat Lexi to retrieving the ball. Then the little stinker wouldn't give it back to us. He just taunted her with it.
