{Little Letters // Vol. 8}

It's the 2nd Friday of the month which means it's time to link up with Kristin at Taz and Belly for Little Letters!! Every month I love this link-up a little more. To read my past Little Letters click H E R E. It feels so good to get these random little thoughts out of my mind each month! Here are my letters for this month...

Dear Jesus, I pray that You may be glorified in our season of waiting. Sanctify me and draw me closer to You. Help me to remember that it's not 'waiting' for you and that you are 'working'. May I fill the aching parts of my heart with prayer and faith in Your sovereignty.

Dear Friday, you are going to be a hard day as we lay Nathan's Grandfather to rest. Lord, I pray that you comfort every heart in the place and bring the peace that passes all understanding.

Dear Life, you have thrown so much at us lately. But, we are choosing to only let it make us stronger. We know God has a plan and He is sovereign.

Dear Husband, it has been so fun dating you lately! We've had 5-6 random dates sans Mason, which never happens. While I love being with Mason, it's been so great to have dates and time alone. I love you so much! So many years later and yet it still feels brand new. You still make my heart skip a beat.

Dear Mason, I am enjoying every single moment of summer break with you! Also, I promise you that a little less iPad will do you good. No, I am not being mean - I'm being your Mama. Mama's always know best. Always remember that! ;) Also, thank you for saving me from all of the lizards that have decided to take over our porch. I don't know why they try to run in every time we open the door. Eeekkk.

Dear Lexi, I so enjoy our morning time when it's just us two. You are so sweet and give the best cuddles and kisses. I love you so my pretty girl.

Dear Mosquitoes, go away!!! You make summer miserable. We just want to enjoy our time outside without 100 bites in less than five minutes.

Dear Audible, thank you! If it weren't for your service I would have only read 1 book this month. Sometimes I have to get past the narrator's voice, but other than that you are golden.

Dear Telegram, you are a total game changer when it comes to Instagram! I love the two groups that I am in and have seen so much growth and engagement. And, I love how easy the app is to manage.

Dear Farmluck, you are our favorite. You're so dang cute in all of  your Farmhouse glory. I love that you are nestled on our town square {most charming town square ever} and your food is delicious. Even if I only ever order a salad and water and have to practice major will power to not order a sundae or banana pudding!

Dear Home, oh how I love you!! I have enjoyed organizing all of the little spaces and making things more functional. It feels so good to simplify and get rid of all the things. It's amazing how much junk you can accumulate in ten years.

Dear Bible Study Group, I am so glad that our study starts back tonight!! I have missed everyone and reading/studying God's word together. I miss doing life with all of you!

Dear Weekend, bring it on. Let's find some adventure, okay? Have a good one, friends!

  1. Oh friend I am so sorry to hear about Nathan's Grandpa. Praying for your family today. Telegram has been good, as long as I don't get behind. I need to plug into that other group too. I have been added but I have yet to engage with it. Happy Friday friend.

  6. Yay for dating your hubby! That's the best! I agree about mosquitos. They annoy me so much. I'm sorta ready for summer to be over, but not quite ready for school. Though I do look forward to the routine. :)

  8. I often have to remind Connor that not every little one gets iPad time so he best appreciate the time he does have with it.

  9. Yay for so many dates! Me and my hubby were joking the other week that we felt like we were in our dating years because we've been getting out so much, it's awesome!
