Fall in Texas may not always come with chilly air and crunchy leaves, but it definitely comes with plenty of pumpkins, hayrides, and family fun! One of my very favorite parts of the season is visiting pumpkin patches and getting lost (on purpose!) in a corn maze. Luckily, Texas is full of both. From small-town charm to big, sprawling farms, there are endless options for a festive fall day.
For this week’s Texas Tuesday, I’m rounding up some of the best pumpkin patches & corn mazes in Texas. Whether you’re looking for a family outing, a fun date idea, or just the perfect place for a fall photo op, these Texas favorites have you covered.
1. Dallas Arboretum Pumpkin Village – Dallas
This isn’t your average pumpkin patch...it’s a full-blown pumpkin wonderland. With over 100,000 pumpkins, gourds, and squash, the Dallas Arboretum transforms into Pumpkin Village each fall. It’s the perfect backdrop for photos.
2. Dewberry Farm – Brookshire (near Houston)
Dewberry Farm is fall fun on a grand scale. You’ll find a massive pumpkin patch, an eight-acre corn maze, hayrides, and so many kid-friendly activities. It’s one of the biggest and best fall destinations in Texas.
3. Mainstay Farm Park – Cleburne
Known as the “Biggest Backyard in Texas,” Mainstay Farm is a family favorite. Their fall festival includes a pumpkin patch, giant corn maze, farm attractions, and even live music and food trucks.
4. Sweet Berry Farm – Marble Falls
This Hill Country gem is known for its vibrant pumpkin patch and fun activities like scarecrow stuffing, hayrides, and flower picking. Perfect for families who love hands-on fun.
5. P-6 Farms – Montgomery
P-6 Farms is a true fall festival destination. Their pumpkin patch, sunflower fields, and impressive corn maze make it one of the most popular fall stops near Houston.
6. Hall’s Pumpkin Farm & Corn Maze – Grapevine
This one is a classic North Texas tradition. Families love the massive corn maze, hayrides, and fields of pumpkins. It’s got a rustic, down-home vibe that feels perfectly Texan.
7. YesterLand Farm – Canton
Known for its nostalgic, carnival-style fun, YesterLand Farm offers pumpkins, a corn maze, rides, games, and even a petting zoo. It’s a full day of fall entertainment.
8. Blessington Farms – Simonton
Located just outside Houston, Blessington Farms offers a pumpkin patch, corn maze, hayrides, and plenty of fall fun for all ages.
