{Roadtrippin' // Kincaid's Burger // Fort Worth, TX}

Sometime early last week, Nate sent Mason and me a Tik Tok about Kincaid's burgers in Fort Worth! It had been on our radar all week because it looked so amazing. Saturday after hockey we decided to give it a try...

Upon pulling up, I was already sold just by the building alone. It was adorable and looked like a diner of yesteryear. And as soon as we opened the door the atmosphere was just neat.

Kincaid's has been around since 1946. It started a grocery store with a full-service meat market. Their love for hamburgers is the reason it evolved into a burger joint. It is now a DFW staple!

Their burgers are made with USDA Black Angus chuck - never frozen and always made fresh daily. The half-pound patty is cooked on a flat-top griddle and is a juicy old-fashioned burger that has won tons of "best burger" awards! Some of their sides are onion rings, crinkle-cut fries, home-made deviled eggs, and fried okra! And you can't forget their homemade shakes.

The grocery store shelves are still lined with vintage goods and nostalgic photos plaster the cinder block walls. I love that the atmosphere has not changed and they kept the rich heritage.

Our honest opinion? The onion rings were amazing - probably some of the best we've ever had. The burgers? They were just okay. We've definitely had better and we've had worse. And the fries were just okay as well. I'm sure it's a "one and done" situation for us. There's so many other places to try!

Kincaid's has several locations but we went to the one at 4901 Camp Bowie Blvd, Fort Worth, TX 76107. Hours are Mon-Sat: 11am-8pm, Sun: 11am-3pm.
