{Pinterest to Project // vol. 9 // Homemade Jello Popsicles}

I don't know about you, but I am all about summer right now. Every time I search something on Pinterest lately I've found a common theme; summer activities, summer recipes, summer crafts, summer playlists, summer, summer, summer. So, when I stumbled upon this pin for Homemade Jello Popsicles I knew we had to make them.

These popsicles only called for 3 ingredients (my kind of recipe) and they are also no drip popsicles. Double win!

1 package Jello of choice
2 cups of water
1/4 cup sugar

and of course, some popsicle molds. We found ours at Walmart on an end-cap on the ice cream aisle.

Bring 1 cup of water to a boil
stir in Jello & sugar
stir in 1 cup cold water
pour into popsicle molds
put in the freezer to freeze overnight

So easy, right?

Our first thoughts were that the texture was slightly weird. They were slimy on the outside, but crunchy on the inside. The flavor was good, though! We used the Jolly Ranchers line of Jello and they were great. And they were right on the no drip thing! We ate them outside in 90° weather and didn't have any dripping issues! We can't wait to try other flavors.

What is your favorite homemade popsicle recipe?
