{Five things that are bringing me joy right now}

We wrapped up a bible study at church about true joy and how it's God's will for us to experience joy. It is so easy to feel weighed down by drudgery & everyday things and so I want to document the things that are bringing me joy right now. I hope to do this every so often. Today I am sharing five things that are currently bringing me joy.

1.) My little family - all three of my boys; Nathan, Mason and Diesel.
They are just the sweetest and I feel so blessed by them. They make my heart so happy! We are in such a good place with Mason right now. He's doing great at school, in church and at home. He has been so obedient lately and there has been less fits & attitude going on. He has a heart on fire for Jesus and as a Mama that is such an amazing thing to witness. We are soaking up every second of this sweet spot.

2.) Our church.
I know I talk about our church a lot on the blog {like every single post}, but I can't help it. It's so amazing and has been such a blessing to us. We have never felt the 'family' at any of the churches we've been to like we do at ours. I wish everyone we know and love could come to our church! Our prayer is to at least get our family there one day. ;) Mason prays for that almost every single night. Oh how I love him so!

3.) Our bible study group.
God has placed some of the sweetest and best people in our lives. They love and lead so well. We love doing life with them. Everyone is around the same age and about the same stage of life which makes it even better! We have some really strong men leaders that are constantly shepherding Nate and it makes my heart so happy!

4.) Spring-time in Texas. (so sorry to those still getting snow!)
I love spring-time in Texas! We have had some of the most glorious weather lately! I am soaking in every single second of it. I know rainy season is upon us, so I am going to enjoy the sunshine while it's here. I am also loving all of the spring time things that are lining the shelves of the stores...all the florals, pastels and bright colors. And I enjoy the flowers that are blooming!

5.) Friendships.
When I sit down and really think about it, I am blown away by the people God has placed in my life. Those friendships we've made both old and new. Even those friends that I have made from this blog. I feel so blessed and thankful. Just last night I had a friend that I made from this blog text me just to let me know she was thinking about me and praying for me. I mean, how awesome and amazing is that?

What is bringing you true joy right now?

 “The LORD is my strength and my shield; my heart trusts in him, and he helps me. My heart leaps for joy, and with my song I praise him.”
Psalm 28:7
