{This Past Weekend...}

Another amazing {but flew by way too fast} weekend in the books! It was another super busy one for us, but I wouldn't have it any other way. We have been making so many incredible memories lately and cultivating special relationships. You just can't beat that! I'm starting our weekend on Thursday because really that's when the fun began. Here is a look at this past weekend...

...this past weekend we visited my in-laws and played a game of Red Rover. The doggies wanted to play, too!

...this past weekend we went downtown to eat at Farmluck Soda Fountain. I ordered a club sandwich and it was by far the best club I have ever had! I love Farmluck and the way it's decorated. It truly feels like an old time soda fountain with a farmhouse twist! They serve everything out of a Mason jar. If you know me then you know that Mason jars are part of my love language!!

...this past weekend we went to Academy. I am pretty sure we go to Academy at least once a week! Life of a fisherman's wife! ha

...this past weekend we had to visit the dentist. Mason's spacer came out at school on Wednesday and we had to get it put back in. They were able to use the same spacer and it was easy! His dentist said his 6 year molars are coming in and that tends to shift things around a bit. When we were checking out I asked to make Mason's cleaning apt for the summer. They asked if we'd like to go ahead and do it since we were already there! Heck yes! Saves us from having to come back. So Mason got his teeth cleaned and a great report from the dentist! We don't go back until October. Yay!!

...this past weekend we went to Six Flags and Mason was able to bring a friend! This is the one night a year that we go to Six Flags...because...no lines! Six Flags is closed for only Nate's mom's school district. So, there are no lines or big crowds and it's glorious. It was a blast! And Mason's friend got to spend the night with us. Other than having a cousin over this was Mason's first sleepover.

...this past weekend the boys stayed up until almost 2 am and then they were up at 7:45 am.

...this past weekend we went to Mason's best friend's soccer game. The weather was perfect for being outside. Warm, but breezy. I love spring time.

...this past weekend we had another double date night! We went to Trader's Village {a flea market of sorts}, Gander Mountain, ate at Red Robin and ended the night with a trip to Academy. It was such a great night! We love doing life with these friends of ours.

...this past weekend we woke up to a stormy morning. I didn't get out and grocery shop like I normally do and actually slept in a little bit before church.

...this past weekend we went to church and heard yet another great sermon on 1 John 1:5-10. The storms make have shook the building, but it didn't stop us from having church.

...this past weekend we went to lunch with sweet friends from church. We ran into several other families from our church as well.

...this past weekend I went to get my nails done. They got in a new rose gold glitter dip color and it's my new favorite! #givemealltherosegold

...this past weekend Nate's parents invited us over for a spaghetti dinner. It was delicious!

...this past weekend was another good one!

And that's a wrap! How was your weekend? What did you do?

  5. I am swooning over that floral wreath in your graphic.

    Looks like another amazing, busy weekend. So much fun packed in. I am hoping that our weekend is like that this coming weekend and that I actually have enough to do a weekend recap of sorts myself. Your nails look SO pretty. I hope your week is off to a great start.

  6. We are going on vacation this month and I am dying to get my nails done. I love your manicures and have nail envy for sure. Maybe I'll treat myself this month when I hit my next -5 pound goal.
