Here lately I’ve found myself falling back in love with so many of the things that once brought me immense joy...blogging, picking up my camera again, and most recently, something I used to wear almost daily… my charm bracelet.
This charm bracelet is so much more than a piece of jewelry...it’s like a wearable scrapbook of my life, one that has been 28+ years in the making.
Nathan gave it to me when we were in high school (swoon, right?), and when he first gifted it to me, it only had two or three charms on it. But over the years, we’ve added to it little by little...charms from vacations, life milestones, and sweet moments that have shaped my story. Some have sadly fallen off over the years (it’s lived a full life, y’all!), but the ones still hanging on each have their own special meaning.
Here’s a peek at what’s currently on my bracelet:
-
N – for Nathan, of course 💙

Dice – a souvenir from a fun Las Vegas trip

Do you have a charm bracelet? Or maybe a piece of jewelry that tells your story? I’d love to hear what kind of charms or mementos you collect. Let’s trade stories and treasures in the comments below.
And if you’re thinking of starting one...do it! It’s one of the most meaningful collections I have.
I've had this post in my drafts but I felt that now was a good time to share. I recently saw a post by James Avery that if you order the "Deep in the Heart of Texas" charm between now and August 4th, they are donating 100% of the proceeds to the flood relief efforts in the Texas Hill Country. The perfect time to purchase a Texas charm!!
