{Currently // July 2023}

It's time for a "currently" post! I haven't done one since January and these are some of my favorite posts. Linking up with Jennifer to share what we are currently loving, savoring, celebrating, remembering, and trying this month.

Loving // all of the family time lately! We've spent a few weekends going down to the lake where my two aunts and my parents all have a lakehouse (on the same street). And then camping for the 4th of July weekend with Nate's family! There's just nothing sweeter than family time!! I rarely document these days because I am so in the moment and loving the time together.

Savoring // every last second of summer!! I love the longer days and the spontaneity that comes with summer. Several Saturdays we have gone on a mini road trip after hockey and I love the time spent with my boys. We've gone to Strawn, played at Big Rocks Park, ate at Herd's Burgers, went to Weatherford, etc. Road trips fuel my soul, even if they're only a day trip!

Celebrating // we celebrated Mason's birthday with a family party (and special guest) and a trip. We also celebrated the Memorial Day holiday in the most beautiful lakehouse. Most recently, we celebrated the 4th of July holiday with a camping trip down at Cedar Creek Lake. I haven't blogged about it yet, but I did post about it on our Camp Around Texas IG, here and here.  We had the best time.

Remembering // the days when the temps were not in the triple digits!! It's so.miserably.hot in Texas! Makes it hard to want to do anything that doesn't require AC!! Camping this weekend was a blast, but it was brutal.

Trying // to be more organized...in all things! My job has really ramped up over the last year and I have much less downtime than I did. I'm always playing life in "catch-up" mode and it's quite exhausting. So I am trying to do better with time management and planning things out! So far, it's going well. I'm using google calendar, a paper calendar, reminders, scheduling apps, etc.
