{Easter at the Halls // 2019}

On Tuesday I shared our Easter at the lake, today I am going to share about our Easter with the Halls. We gathered Sunday afternoon to celebrate Easter and it was a lovely time. Nathan's Grandma was able to come and spend a few hours with us and it was just lovely.

Nate, Mason and I arrived about an hour earlier than the rest of the crew. So, Mason dyed some Easter eggs to pass the time. They came out so pretty!

Nathan and I made green beans for our Easter lunch and oh my word. I could eat these as a meal. They are so delicious! If anyone is curious, below is the recipe.

Ingredients:
5 (15oz) cans green beans, drained
1 lb cooked & chopped bacon
2/3 cup of brown sugar
1/4 cup of melted butter
1/4 cup of soy sauce
1.5 tsp garlic powder

Instructions:
Preheat oven to 350
Pour drained green beans into an ungreased 9x13in pan
Sprinkle cooked/chopped bacon on top of green beans
Whisk together brown sugar, melted butter, soy sauce and garlic powder. Pour over green beans.
Bake uncovered for 40 minutes

Simple and delicious

After lunch, the boys opened their gifts from Nana & Papa and we hung out and played for a bit.

Then it was time for all of the outdoor activities; egg hunting, blowing bubbles, playing with chalk, confetti eggs, and silly string. It was too much fun!

And of course, a video of our day.

And because this is my last Easter post I have to share Lexi's Easter pictures!

And that's a wrap on our 2019 Easter. I hope yours was amazing!
