{Five Things bringing me joy right now}

Time for another round of five things that are bringing me joy right now. I wrote a post like this a few months ago {H E R E} and I decided I want to do this every couple of months. Life often gets busy or mundane and so I want to focus on the happy. A heart check, if you will.

1.) The She Reads Truth Bible
I have this bible in the color poppy and it's so beautiful from cover to cover! I love the illustrations and the devotionals throughout the bible. If you haven't seen this bible I would definitely recommend that you check it out. And also the She Reads Truth app. It's one of my favorite ways to study the word of God!

2.) Lexi
Oh this sweet girl! She is such a delight and the absolute best addition to our family. We are so impressed with how smart she is and how fast she picks up on things. She is also growing like a weed! On 6/17 she was 18 pounds. Diesel was 10 pounds. She's going to be a big girl. She loves to cuddle, sleep and give kisses. We can't get enough of her.

3.) Sweet summer time
We are soaking up every single second of summer time. There is nothing I love more than having my boy home with me. Even though I still work during the summer, I work at home and I am able to spend time with Mason. You'd think we'd need a break from each other, but it's just the opposite. We love our time together.

4.) My home
I have been on a cleaning/purging/organizing kick lately and it's making me fall in love with my home all over again! I have been so content just staying at home and spending quality time with my precious family. It's amazing what an organized space will do for you!

5.) The Lauren Daigle station on Pandora
If you love Christian/Praise & Worship music I can't recommend this station enough! I've tailored almost all of my favorite songs. This station gives me life!

May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope.

  1. Mornings with Connor. I love just "being" with him. No place to go, no chores to tackle. Just me and my boy.

  9. You know I love these types of posts because I think it's important for us to always be grateful for something; no matter how big or small. I really want the She Reads Truth Bible but first i'm going to do the Lipstick Gospel Devotional with Stephanie May Wilson. I may order the She Reads Truth Bible next though.

    Lex i is so adorable. Her pics make me miss having a lab. They're so sweet! I'm also loving summer time. It's gone by so fast with us buying this house but it's been a memorable summer. I'm getting ready to send my kiddo into high school. My mama heart breaks a little but I am very proud of the young man he's becoming.

    Since we moved i'm even more of a homebody now, too. We're about 20 minutes away from everything but a gas station and a Dollar General but it's heaven on earth to me. It makes me want to stay home more and create a beautiful home for my family.

    I definitely will check out the Lauren Daigle station on Pandora because i've been looking for more worship music lately!
