We're back for our seventh edition of "What We're Reading"! Thank you to all you that have linked up with us thus far. It's been fun to see what everyone else is reading each month. My book list is now never ending and I love it. I've recently rekindled my love for reading. I thought I loved a good paperback book, but it's proving easier to read on the Kindle app on my phone. Here is a look at what we are reading this month.
Mason -
We are busy reading the books I recently bought him during my $10 to Target Trip. I was so excited to grab some books from my childhood {Secret Garden, Treasure island and The Adventures of Tom Sawyer}. Mason is enjoying them! And we are keeping him sharp by reading the educational books I also grabbed.
We are also reading books from an app called Epic. It was recommended by teachers at Mason's school. The app is free to download and your first month is free and then it's $7.99 per month {free for educators}. As much as Mason loves to read I think this will be worth it. There are over 25,000 books to choose from and you can choose by age range.
We also travel a lot and it's not convenient to carry a ton of books so we'll use this app during those times. So far we have read almost 25 books using this app and love it.
Crystal:
I have not read much this week except the bible and bible study apps/books. I am currently doing the "Covenant" study with some ladies at my church. You can join too on the First 5 app!
I have loaded my kindle with a bunch of books for our trip! I hope to finish as many of these as I can. Have you read any of these?
What are you reading right now?
Johannah from The Sirois Family
Whitney from Work it Mommy
Crystal from Hall around Texas
Stephanie from Wife Mommy Me
Whitney from Polka-Dotty Place
Heather from My Glittery Heart
Justine from Little Dove Blog
What a cool app! It's like Netflix, but for books. Love it. Marissa has been reading several graphic novels lately.
ReplyDeleteThe Handmaid's Tale is a fantastic book! I've watched the series, too!
ReplyDeleteI read Sisters One Two Three and it was pretty good!
ReplyDeleteI saw a bunch of those books at our Target too!! Need to grab some. I need to add some of yours to my list to read. I'm always looking for new good books. Thanks girl!
ReplyDeleteI really need to get back into reading. I think probably once school starts and I'm home alone all day with just Dom. Haha
ReplyDeleteI wish I had more time to read. I feel like I've really been slacking this summer. I need to get back in the swing of things!
