{Air Show at Fort Worth Alliance Airport // 2019}

Okay, y'all...we have seriously been living under a rock! This was our first time to ever go to the Fort Worth air show and I can't for the life of me figure out why. We've heard about it a million times, but never pursued anything beyond that! We were blown away by the size of this thing and how fun it was!! We are so glad we were invited to go, otherwise, we may have never gone. Here's a look at our day at the Fort Worth Air Show!

We left our house to meet Nate's brother shortly before 9:00. We grabbed Mason some donuts, gassed up and were on our way. It was a little over an hour drive, but traffic around the airport made it about an hour and a half. Luckily, Nate's GPS took us a back way and shaved off some of the traffic time. Once we got closer and seen the thousands of vehicles we were in wow of how big of a show this actually is. There were jets already flying when we arrived, so that was cool to see! We parked and made our way in. For the first half of the time we walked around and looked at all of the planes and even got to climb into some of them. That was so cool! And, there was an air show going on most of the time that you could watch as you walked around. {get ready for picture overload!!!!}

We found a tent that was full of stem type stuff for the kids, so we had to go see what that was all about. Mason got some airplane kits, learned of a new app for aviation type stuff, checked out some drones, landed a plane on a runway, and did a little VR. He had a blast!

Then it was time for the star of the show...the BLUE ANGELS!!!! It was so cool to see them so up close and personal.

And of course, the video:
