{Pinterest to Project // vol. 3 // DIY Farmhouse Shower Curtain}

I am movin' and groovin' on this Pinterest to Project thing. It's been so fun to watch these pins come to life. In case you missed my first two posts (DIY Fall Door Hanger & DIY Tin Can Pumpkins} I started a Pinterest to Project series here on my blog where I share with you some of the pins that I've turned into actual projects. I have way too many things saved that I want to do!! Today I am sharing a DIY Farmhouse Shower Curtain I made.

My inspiration was this pin. I didn't have a large stencil to use, so I just thought of ideas I could use with vinyl. I finally decided on this "Mercantile" cut-out. It just screams "Farmhouse" to me. I may go back and put and Est. 2006 under the Mercantile (for the year we were married), but I haven't fully decided. Or maybe the daunting task of taking it all down and putting it back up again has deterred me...for now! We'll see.

Materials:
6x9 Painter's drop cloth - $9.97 at Walmart
Clip rings - $4.74 each at Walmart for a pack of 7 (I bought two packs)
Iron on Vinyl - I used about $2.00 worth
Mercantile Cut file - $3.39 on Etsy
Cricut
Iron

How I created the project:

Iron your drop cloth to get out the wrinkles where it was folded, cut out the Mercantile sign with iron-on vinyl using a Cricut or cutting machine, measure your drop cloth to get the sign centered, iron on, hang using the clips.

It's so hard to get a picture of it hanging in the bathroom, but here's the best I could do. I can't wait to build upon this theme in this bathroom.
