{Currently // October Edition}

It's the first Wednesday of the month which means it's time to link up with Anne @ Anne in Residence for a Currently October edition. This month we are sharing what we're currently wearing, collecting, making, taking, and planning. I absolutely love these posts each month and love to read what all of my blog friends are currently up to. 

Wearing | Slowly bringing a few fall things into my daily wardrobe. The weather is cooling off, but only slightly. This is still Texas after all. ha. I have some new leopard booties that I am dying to wear, but it's still getting up into the 80s around here. So, I guess I have to wait a few more weeks. Although, I feel like church on Sundays is a perfect time (excuse even, maybe?)  to wear fall clothing! We go in the morning when it's still coolish outside and then it's freezing inside (especially in our Sunday School classroom). That's how I justify it, at least.

Collecting | Memories? Cliche, but it's the best I got. I don't really collect much of anything else. Except for maybe photos and videos. I currently have 8,965 (when I wrote this post) photos and videos on my phone. And this is after I cleaned out over 1400+. It's so hard for me to let go of photos. Even if I'm not truly letting go of them because they're on my external hard drive. Never know when you're going to need that one picture and the phone is the most convenient place to retrieve it. Anyone else a picture hoarder? 

Making | All the things! Wreaths, tea towels, shirts, fall crafts, etc. I just can't stop. I will be sharing these things on the blog soon. I'm also making a conscious effort to be a better housewife! I have been (non-pregnancy) nesting for a couple of weeks now. I'm tired of the clutter and just want some organization to this chaotic place we call home. 

Taking | Again, photos. There is just something about this time of year that makes me want to get out my big camera and take pictures of everything. I'm also taking control of all of the things. Something has recently ignited a fire under my little domestic wannabe heart. I've been meal planning, organizing, cleaning, keeping laundry caught up, and I've even gotten ahead on my blogging! 

Planning | For the holidays! We have pumpkin patches, festivals, Halloween movie nights, camping trips, Halloween, Thanksgiving, Polar Express, The Grinch, Christmas tree farm, Christmas, etc all to look forward to. I just adore this time of year.
