{Who God says I am}

In a world where we are pulled in many different directions and are constantly made to feel like we are never enough I am so thankful that I serve a God that says I am worth it. That I am enough. That I am His. My true identity is in Christ and in Christ alone. I turn to these scriptures when I need to be reminded of just that. And maybe you need to read these today, too.

The Word says...

I am a Child of God.
But to all who did receive him, who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God.
- John 1:12

A daughter of the King.
So in Christ Jesus you are all children of God through faith
- Galatians 3:26

Justified and Redeemed.
For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and all are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus.
- Romans 3:23-24

Forgiven.

In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of God's grace.

- Ephesians 1:7

Loved.

Give thanks to the God of heaven, for his steadfast love endures forever.

- Psalm 136:26

Worth more than rubies.

A wife of noble character who can find? She is worth far more than rubies.

- Proverbs 31:10

No Longer a Slave.

So you are no longer a slave, but a son, and if a son, then an heir through God.

- Galatians 4:7

Set Free.

It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery.

- Galatians 5:1

Chosen.

Even as he chose us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and blameless before him. In love.

- Ephesians 1:4

Complete in Christ.

For in him the whole fullness of deity dwells bodily, and you have been filled in him, who is the head of all rule and authority.

- Colossians 2:9-10

Fearfully and Wonderfully Made.

I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Wonderful are your works; my soul knows it very well.

- Psalm 139:14

Friends, we are not defined by who the world says we are, but who we are in Christ. You are chosen, cherished, and so dearly loved.
