{Five on Friday // September vol 1 // GT, Cozy Q&A, Jeep Meet, Rooster}

Happy Friday! It's usually the short weeks seem the longest, but that was not the case this week. This week seemed to fly by and I'm not mad about it. I'm ready for another weekend. Like always. Tonight we have our first bible study since our summer break. I'm looking forward to spending time in the word with sweet friends and just hanging out together. Saturday we are hanging out with some friends and Sunday is church and a bridal shower at church for a dear friend. It's going to be a great weekend!! But for now, a little Five on Friday...

Posts from this week...

GT - Mason went to GT {gifted and talented program - called Flight at our school} this Tuesday and couldn't have loved it more. It's all he talked about after school. He told me...

“Mom, you were so right!!! This is going to be a great year!! It took about 25 minutes for us to get loaded up on the bus and over to the Intermediate, but then it felt like we got to stay there for 7 hours or so. It made my day go by sooo fast!” ❥  They made rafts out of toothpicks and apples. And other notables were that a counselor gave them candy, they had their own wobbly chairs and they had their very own restroom in their GT room!

Our neighbor's Rooster has been hanging out at our house and is giving us so much life! haha. It's the most hilarious looking Rooster I've ever seen. One of those 'it's so ugly that it's cute' kind of creatures! Mason and I just crack up over him. But, we love him so. We named him Fancy Nancy before we found out that it was actually a Rooster! But, the name has stuck. I don't think he minds as long as we keep feeding him!!

We had another Jeep meet last night! I love these things. There was a great turn-out and we had many new faces again. It really seems like the club is growing rapidly these days. My best girlfriend and her family weren't able to come so that was a bummer, but we still had a great time. Looking forward to the next one.

I'm a bit late, but linking up with the Blended Blog for their monthly Q&A session. This one is fall-related and makes my heart so happy just thinking/talking about all things cozy!

1.) Yes, or really thick slipper type socks! But only for lounging. I can't sleep in socks. Nope. No way.
2.) It's a blanket I bought in Estes Park Colorado that's made out of a sweatshirt material, and it's turquoise of course!!
3.) Thick! I love the memory foam pillow with the cooling gel in it.
4.) Pumpkin Spice Latte, hands down!
5.) I wear a robe when I get out of the shower and while I'm getting ready but that's about it.
6.) Hmm...chips and queso, maybe? I love the chips and queso from Chili's in the fall/winter. We'll order that and a bowl of soup and it's so good.
7.) Both! We don't watch a lot of tv around here, but when the weather is cooler I just want to curl up on the couch with a blanket and watch a show or movie. And Mason and I look forward to our annual Hocus Pocus movie night every year!
8.) PJs for sleeping and leggings for lounging around the house!!
9.) Couch
10.) Sweaters! I don't like the way hoodies feel around my neck.

And/also...

For all of my fall loving friends, did you see this free autumn spice font

Lauren Daigle's new album Look Up Child releases today and I am so excited!!

I read on someone's blog that Gilmore Girls is the perfect show to watch in the fall and oh my word. YES! I've been watching it all week and it just gives me all of the fall feels. Now that I've shared our final summer bucketlist update it's about to get all fall up in here.

Have a great weekend. Go find some adventure! Go walk in your purpose!
