{Fall porch // 2019}

Decorating my porch for fall is one of my favorite things and I look forward to it each year! I feel like a fall porch is just so welcoming and inviting and well, it just makes my heart happy! Every time I pull up to my home I see my porch and it makes me smile! This year I jumped on the layered rug trend using two rugs I found at Hobby Lobby. And then I just worked my theme around that!

I used a black and white buffalo check rug as the bottom layer and then an "Our Nest" rug as the top layer. I couldn't be more happy with this look! So, my main colors are black and white with pops of orange and turquoise. So perfect, right?

I recently made a new fall wreath for our front door to match my new porch decor. I used the same buffalo check print for the ribbon and then added lots of pumpkins. I think it all meshes well together. I'm sure it will change a bit over the next couple of months, but this is my base. I will add some mums deeper into the season. I have a black thumb {or two} and can't buy them too early into the season! And I know we'll add some real pumpkins, too! I can't wait for real pumpkins!!
