{Christmas Day // 2019}

I was on a roll getting out all of the Christmas posts, but then the flu hit our household. Mason was diagnosed with Flu Type A. It's been both a physically and mentally and emotionally exhausting week! I hate to see my boy sick. Anyhow, backing up to Christmas Day. It was such a beautiful day!

We woke Mason around 8:00am so that we could have Christmas at home before going to Nate's parents at 10:30. He was ecstatic and anxious! I made him wait until I got to the living room so that I could record him! He always hates that part. ha. Santa brought him a few Fortnite toys that he asked for and we bought him a gaming computer (also on his list). He was surprised even though he asked for it. Christmas through a child's eyes is the most amazing thing ever!

After Mason opened all of his gifts Nate got busy on building his gaming desk while I made a festive breakfast for Mase.

We hung out, opened things, and then went to Nate's parent's house for Christmas over there! We had lunch - always a tradition to do snack foods. Nate's mom always orders a chicken nugget and fruit tray from Chick Fil A and then we have all kinds of other finger foods, chips, and dips, etc. We opened gifts, played some games, and had a snowball fight.

We got together the Friday after Christmas with my family! It was the first time we got to see our new baby niece since she was born on 12/11/19. She's such a precious little one. My mom and sister made a fabulous meal and we had the best time hanging out.
