{This Past Weekend // Ranger game, time with friends & Mother's Day}

Happy Thursday! I can't believe I am just now sharing about this past weekend. The Monday after a busy Sunday is just too hard {plus I took entirely too many pictures and the thought of going through them was overwhelming}. I was in a weekend hangover/funk all day long on Monday and did very little blogging {or anything else for that matter}. And then Tuesday came and I just slapped some pictures I wanted to share into a post, Wednesday I had something planned and now here we are, already at Thursday. We had such an incredible weekend and there is no way that I could go on without blogging about it. Here is a look at...

...Mason brought me home the most adorable little homemade gifts from school! These will always be my favorite thing to receive on Mother's Day. I love how much thought he puts into them. My favorite parts were that he thinks I am as nice as Jesus {not even close bud, but thank you anyway!!}, that I love to take pictures {and take fast pictures}, that I cook the yummiest sandwiches {that's all he ever wants these days} and that I am as smart as a Lumberjack {he said he watched a show once where the lumberjacks were so smart and intelligent!!}!! Oh and I love that I am as cool as sunglasses. Oh how I love this sweet little boy something fierce!

...we went to the Ranger game and got to watch from a suite!! It was Mason's very first suite experience and it sure was SWEET! He enjoyed every minute of it. We received the tickets from Nathan's cousin from Oklahoma. The whole evening was free; tickets, parking, food, drinks, program, etc. I can't even begin to explain how thankful we were that he invited us. Nate's mom, brother and his brother's girlfriend were also able to go. We had a blast and it was one awesome game to see! A walk off homerun for the win. Goodness, I love baseball. And after the game we got to watch the firework show to some Beatles tunes. I loved watching Mason sit in awe and taking it all in. A night I will remember for a long time.

...we all slept in until 10:00 am. Glory, glory hallelujah!!! It's been a long time since I have gotten to sleep in on a Saturday! We didn't have any plans for the first half of the day so we ran a few errands. We went to the tire place to order some tires for Nate's truck {I hate buying tires, btw}, got some Mother's Day gifts and had lunch at one of our favorite little spots in the downtown area, Farmluck.

...after Farmluck we went to visit at my parent's house. My sister was hosting a craft day with some of my aunts and basically aunts {aunt's best friends that were around before I was born}. They were making signs, hats, and all kinds of decor. I didn't plan on attending because I usually just make my crafts when I think of them.

...that evening we went to some friend's house to hang out and have supper. Mason and T have been friends since they were 1 years old. It's been a while since we have gotten to hang out and catch-up. We've only seen each other in passing lately. so it was nice.

...that night I finished putting tabs on my new She Reads Truth Bible while Nate put Mason to bed. If you haven't checked out this beautiful bible yet I highly recommend it.

...Mason brought me some gifts and a sweet card while I was getting ready for church. Apparently Nathan took him to their company store while he was there for bring your kid to work day to pick out a few things for me. Then Nate went back and bought them. They got me a beautiful turquoise picture frame and a Fossil necklace and earrings. So sweet! I love those boys.

...we went to Sunday school and church. After church they gave each Mother a pink pen and bookmark. The bookmark has scripture to turn to for things like anger, stress, disappointment, etc. I know I will be turning to it quite a bit! In children's church Mason made me the cutest little flowerpot with his picture in it! So adorable.

...Nate's brother texted him during church that his family and some good family friends were hanging outside in the gazebo near our church so we stopped by for a minute to say hi.

...after that we swung by the house to grab a couple things before heading to my aunt's house. All of my mom's side of the family was celebrating Mother's Day there! We ate and visited with the family for a while. I failed to take any pictures, darn it. I did grab a few of Mason and I, though, The first was the picture at the top of this post and this one...

...next we went to Nate's parent's house to visit for a bit and to take Nate's mom her gift. Nate's mom gave me a beautiful cross bracelet and Michelle gave me a scripture based coloring book. They are so sweet!

...then it was time to go see Nate's Grandmother and visit with her for a while. We had a wonderful time and ended up taking quite a few pictures there.

...after visiting with Nate's Grandmother we went home and spent a little time outside. The boys played catch and a little softtoss. It was so fun to watch them. I could sit out and watch them play for hours. I posted more about it here.

And that wraps up our amazing weekend! How was yours? I hope you had a fantastic Mother's day!
