{Weekend Wrap-up}

Happy Monday!! I've been absent from this space for a bit. So much has happened this past week. I'm not ready to share about it just yet, but will soon.  Despite all that is going on we had an amazing weekend!! And for that, I am so grateful. I love my people.

Friday evening we got sucked into Fuller House!! We stayed home all evening and finished the entire series and loved it. We can't wait for season two. Hurry up Netflix!! Anyone else finish the series?

Saturday we had some things to return to Cabela's so we decided to make a day trip out of it. Cabela's is a little over an hour from us. I'm glad Nate suggested it because it was refreshing to get out of the house. We stopped at our favorite little place in Grand Prairie for lunch on the way. I never go to Grand Prairie anymore and love when we can stop through! Don Juans was a staple for us growing up and now we get to share it with our boy! Love it.

After Cabela's we decided to go to Bass Pro Shop. We hadn't been there in forever and it was fairly close to where we were at. They were having a dog event there so we got to see all kinds of pups! Mason loved it! That evening we came home and did a few things around the house before making a bonfire. We still had our Christmas tree that we needed to burn. It's been pretty windy and weird weather since Christmas and it was finally calm enough to get it done!

Later that night we rented the Good Dinosaur. It's a cute movie!! But, it was sad and gave me so much anxiety. Seriously! Have you seen it?

Sunday morning I got up early to do our grocery shopping before church. I love having that done and not having to do it {with everyone else} after church! And there is no one in the stores at 7:30am. It's perfect!! After grocery shopping I grabbed some donuts for my boys. Then it was church time. And church was so, so, so good!! I just love our church.  After service we grabbed lunch and came home to see that Nate's dad had mowed our whole 2 acres. Such a blessing!! Nate needed a new weed-eater so we headed back to town to grab one. Then we came home to finish up housework. I had so much laundry to catch up on. So I did the inside stuff while Nate did the outside stuff. Mason played at his Nana and Papa's for most of the day. I took many breaks just so that I could enjoy the sweet sunshine.

I love weekends, but I love Sunday's the most. I wish every weekend had two Sundays. How was your weekend?
