{Oh Hey Friday // Soccer // Field Trip}

Happy Friday!! This was a long week! I am looking forward to the weekend, even though we don't have much planned. I think this rain is supposed to continue through Saturday. Ugh! I'm over it. I need sunshine something bad right now. So if you got it, send it my way would ya? :) Time for Oh Hey Friday!

{T W O} // Did you enter our Starbucks giveaway? There is $150 up for grabs!

{T H R E E} // So this happened this week...

Don't let that look fool you! He really is excited. This picture was snapped right after he busted his bottom on the floor. We tried telling him the cleats were for grass, but he wanted to see how fast they made him!  And he slipped and fell pretty hard.

A little cleats, socks and shin-guard shopping! Our sweet boy is playing Soccer for the first time!! He's so excited. I just hope he is excited when the season starts.

{F O U R} //  Mason recently participated in a school fundraiser and for selling 15+ items he got to ride in a party bus to CiCi's Pizza. He had a blast! He said the bus was awesome and that it had a tv that played music videos. They got to dance and have fun!

{F I V E} // Tonight we are having supper at our pastor's house! I am a little nervous and pray that Mason is on his best behavior!! They have 3 little girls and 1 little boy. I have a feeling he is going to want to show off for those girls. They are cooking supper and I asked if I could bring anything. They told me no, but I still feel like I should. Any suggestions on what to take?

And a picture that has nothing to do with any of the above, but because he is cute and I adore him!!

What do you have planned for the weekend?

  1. Mason is so cute in his soccer gear! Have a fun weekend - I have an idea for a little something to take tonight - a spring candle - We take a Yankee Candle / Bath and Body Works candle when we go to someones house that tells us to bring nothing! Its a little something they can have for themselves.

  3. My 8 year old thinks he might want to play soccer. We need to decide still! The field trip looks awesome. When I go to people for dinner, sometimes I bring candy, or wine, or flowers!

  5. How cute is Mason in his soccer gear?! I LOVE watching little kids play soccer. It's usually a disorganized mess, but it's adorable. I hope he loves it!

  6. SOCCER!! That's about the only sport that I would actually sign Wyatt up to play. Sean and I are really not competitive and could care less about sport...except Razorback football! ;)

Maybe you could just take a little dessert?? Not sure what kind of denomination it is but Methodist's do drink, so maybe wine?

  7. Yay for soccer! We are signing Cash up for a summer session. I can't wait.

What if you brought a bouquet of flowers or a bottle of wine? Whip up some brownies? Have a great time!

  8. Party bus, how fun is that?! Does his school have uniforms? I know that lots of schools do now days, but none around here.

    Have a great weekend!

  9. We desperately need some sunshine...this is the DFW, not Seattle! I would suggest taking fruit or a gallon of tea...maybe cookies for the kiddos? Have a great weekend!

  10. Way to rock that fundraiser Mason!!! So cool he got to ride that awesome bus to the pizza place!
Also, so cool he's doing soccer!!! I want to start Mason in some sort of sport too but right now he has his ABA class on Saturdays. I'm hoping it won't be for too much longer and maybe we can start him in a sport on the weekends. It's TOO cute to see them dressed in their uniforms!
Hope you have a great weekend friend! xo

  11. Oh too bad about falling wearing his cleats... But yay for soccer! Noah is taking a soccer "class" this spring. I say class because they don't actually play games against other teams, it's more about just learning the basics. Regardless, I'm so excited for him!

How cool that the school had a party bus for the kids! That sounds like a dream come true for most littles!

  13. I can't wait to hear how soccer goes! Liam will be able to play this coming fall, and I already can't wait. He will start t-ball in May and that will be a fun introduction into the world of sports.
