{Fall Bucketlist update // Boo'ing a friend // Countdown to Halloween}

I have seen pins for "Boo-ing" a friend on Pinterest for years and have always thought it would be so much fun! This year I added it to our bucketlist because I knew Mason was of a good age and that he would get a kick out of it.

I bought everything for our "Boo" bag at Walmart. This is what I included:

Rt beers - in the monster cans
A fleece Halloween blanket
2 activity packs
Ten Timid Ghosts {book}
Scared Shrek {movie}
Candy and other little Halloween treats

The options are endless! You could include candy only, or items for a Halloween craft, or setup a little Halloween scavenger hunt around their place {if you have enough time before they get home}, or you could even leave the ingredients to make s'mores. We catered ours to the family we were giving it to.

So Friday after we picked up Mason from school we headed to the Rochelle's house to drop off our Boo bag and hang the "We've been boo'd" door hanger on their door. It was much of a surprise to him too because we didn't tell him the plan. His little best friend is in the same class with him and I knew he would spill the beans.

We will definitely be adding this to our Halloween traditions list!! Mason loved it and I loved making the bag. Mason is anxiously waiting and hoping he gets Boo'd. :)

Have you ever boo'd any of your friends? What did you include in your bag?

  1. oh gosh that is AH-dorable! I've seen it from time to time but never actually done it. I'll definitely be doing it one year - it is so cute. Do you leave it and run? Or bring it over and hang? Have I told you I love your new blog floral header? It is gorgeous.
