{Weekend Wrap-up}

Whew, another great weekend came and went! Our weekends just fly by too fast, but I am sure to soak up every single family moment that I can!

Friday night we took Mason to his very first football game! We went to Ferris HS for their homecoming. It's the school his uncle TY goes to. Mason did really well, there was so much to look at. And he looked ridiculously cute, might I add. Just want to eat him up!!!

Mason's shirt says, "Lock Up Your Daughters" (mommy would appreciate this!!)

Oh how I love you, Mason!!

.................................................................

Saturday we didn't do much. We hung out around home. Daddy smoked some yummy chicken and ribs while Mason and I hung out!

Smiling even in his sleep!

We also visited with Hank

That evening we went to my Aunt Tira's house for a bday party. It was nice to see everyone, but it was so busy I didn't get any pictures.

.......................................................................

Sunday morning we played in bed for a bit. Then Mommy and Mason ran to Walmart for a few things while Daddy helped our neighbors mow their yard. Our neighbor Jim fell and broken his hip, so he's not able to mow all of their acres. Daddy quickly volunteered, because, well he's just awesome like that, but also because he wanted to try out Jim's Zero-Turn John Deere!

When Mommy and Mason got home we went to visit. We hung out on the porch and talked for a good while. Jim and Nancy have become our adopted Grandparents! They are so sweet and have a million awesome stories to tell. I could listen to them talk for hours!

Mason LOVED the John Deere tractor! He wouldn't stop smiling and it was oh-so-cute!!!! Just wish I would have dressed him in his John Deere outfit. O'well, next time!

.........................................................................

After visiting with the neighbors Nana kept Mason for a few hours so that Mommy could get some housework (long over-do) done. While it's nice to get things done, it's really hard on Mommy's soul to be away from Mase for any period of time!! When we went to Nanas this is house we found Mase; scootin' around in his walker. His feet finally touch!

I promise he enjoyed it! I just waited too long to take the picture. He knew Mommy and Daddy were there and wanted out!

Then Nana had an idea to take a picture of Mase on Daddy's quilt. It's made of all his baseball jerseys throughout the years. Mommy can't wait to make Mase one someday!

So much to look at!

.......................................................................

That evening we went to visit MiMi and Papa. Mase fell asleep on our way home - at 7:45 and slept in his bassinet until 12:45. Then he got in bed with mommy and daddy for a while and I put him back in his bassinet at 3:30 and he slept in there until 6:30ish! Woot woot! Go Mason! Some nights are good with the bassinet and others he just wants to be in bed with us.

And that's our weekend-wrap-up!
