{Sunflowers // 2020}

It's no secret around here that I love sunflowers! Actually, I am a bit obsessed with them. There is just something so beautiful about sunflowers and sunflower fields. I've posted about them several times on the blog (here, here, here, here, and there were more but I lost all my pictures when Photobucket decided to shut down). We've already been out several times this year and I can't get enough!

The first time we went out was the Saturday after our beach vacation! We drove out to the secluded field out by the lake. We were the only ones there and it was glorious. Nathan let me snap pictures to my heart's content!

The 2nd time we went to the fields was random! We were on the way back from the lake and saw two fields right off the side of the freeway! The flowers were all facing the opposite way, but that didn't stop me.

And the third time was last Friday! I told Nate I wanted to go to the sunflowers at sunset. When we arrived there were no less than 100 cars between the three fields and I was bummed. As we were about to leave we saw two cops turn down the road. We were curious about where they were going and so we followed them. And? They led us right to a secluded sunflower field that no one knew about! We had the whole thing to ourselves!

Also, I need to mention that we are very careful when we go to these fields. We don't trample on anything and are very careful to protect the fields.
