{CURRENTLY // NOVEMBER EDITION}

Happy November!! I'm not quite sure where October went, but here we are. Joining Anne in Residence for another round of "Currently". This month we are sharing what we are currently picking, preparing, trying, feeling, following. I love this link-up and enjoy joining in each month. I hope you'll join us as well. 

Picking ::
I'm picking out all the Christmas stuff; elf shenanigans, Christmas books for our Christmas book countdown, scripture for our advent, a day for pictures, etc. I just love this time of year, even if there is a ton of preparing involved. I'm also picking apart my planner trying to schedule in all of the stuff! 

Preparing ::
Again, for the holidays. It's my absolute favorite time of the year. We have so much to look forward to; Thanksgiving, Polar Express, The Grinch, weekend getaway with friends, the Christmas tree farm, Christmas parade, Elf movie night, Deckin' the Halls, Elf on the Shelf, Advent, Bethlehem Revisited, Candlelight Christmas Eve Service, and so, so much more. 

Trying ::
This whole bullet journaling thing. I am a total newbie and still learning, but I am loving it so far. It's such a fun way to get those creative juices flowing. Do you bullet journal? I would love to see some of your pages! I'm still trying to gather ideas for pages I could use. Right now I'm using it as a calendar/blog planner/to list.

Feeling ::
Super excited for the holidays, but also totally dreading them. Funny how excitement and dread can co-exist. This will be the first set of major holidays without my Granny. It just won't be the same without her and we'll be feeling it something fierce. Most of us in my family has been struggling since her unexpected passing. But only because she was THAT important and special to so many of us. I've been finding peace in the fact that she gets to spend the holidays in Heaven. I mean, how amazing that must be. 

Following ::
So many full-time RV'ers on Instagram and thinking "I could totally do this!" I mean, as long as we are moving and getting to see new places, I think it would be a dream. But then another half of me thinks "are you CRAZY?!" I like to have space for crafting and tinkering with the Jeep and so much more! And the holidays! I'm certain that all of my Christmas decor wouldn't even fit in an RV. So, I guess I will just live vicariously through those full-time RV'ers and adventure through their travels. ha!  

On another note, we have been following the Keto diet pretty strictly for a few months now. Of course, Nate is progressing quicker than I am on the weight loss. But isn't that how it always goes with men vs women?
