{This Past Weekend}

Happy Monday!! What a weekend it was. It was filled with time at home, family, friends, and church. So much good this weekend and do you know how many pictures I took? Next to none. Here is a look at this past weekend...

...I worked, but both of my boys were home. Mason slept until 11:00 and Nate slept until 11:30. Then we all had lunch together. We grabbed food at one of our favorite little diners in town.

...That evening I got on a roll and was cleaning and organizing. We had take out and stayed at home for the evening.

...I woke up with Lexi around 6:00 am. We went out side and played for a bit. I waited for her to settle back down for a nap so that I could leave for the grocery store. I wanted to get it done and over with before the stores were so crowded. It was the perfect time to go!

...I came home and made cinnamon rolls for the boys and we hung out and had a pretty lazy morning.

...Then Nate went out to mow and Mason and I ran some errands. We had to go Tractor Supply for dog food and treatments. Mason loves that we can actually take Lexi into Tractor Supply. Of course she gets so much love and attention and Mason loves to talk about her.

...Next we grabbed some refreshing drinks from Sonic and came home.

...We had supper plans for 4:00 {I know, so early!!} with Nate's Grandparents. His Step Grandfather's brother was in town and they wanted us to meet them. We had a delicious supper and visit.

...When we got home we took the dogs out to play. We noticed our neighbors outside {the ones that Mason has dubbed Papa and MeMaw since he was able to talk} so we went over to visit. They had family in from Kentucky and we got to meet them all. We had a great time talking and hanging out and playing with the pups.

...Then Nate's mom and brother picked us up for Dairy Queen treats!

...I was up at 6 again thanks to the new alarm clock named Lexi. Good thing she is cute!

...We played outside for a while and then back in to get ready for church. I took a shower while she curled up under my counter and took a nap.

...We grabbed donuts on the way to church and Mason didn't enjoy them at all {haha}.

...We went to Sunday School and then church. It was an emotional service and I cried through a good portion of it.

...After church we went to lunch with sweet friends to Cotton Patch. I love doing life with these people.

...Then we went home to change and grab Lexi before going back to our friend's house. They were shooting targets and getting our pup and their Lab used to the gun sound. They have hopes of turning them into duck hunting dogs this year. Lexi did so well!

...Then it was back to church for a bake sale auction for our youth and preteens. The proceeds went to help kids get to camp this summer. We raised $2000 that evening. It was awesome.

And that's a wrap on our weekend! I am amazed that I didn't take any pictures. I even missed 10 on the 10th {taking 10 pictures on the 10th}. We were just preoccupied this weekend and I didn't even think about it. O'well!

Don't forget the Kids Behind the Blog link-up is this week. It goes live on Wednesday 6/14. Below are the questions for this month. I hope you will join us.

  1. Yay for a good weekend, and wow you got a lot done on Saturday before anyone was up. I love going to the grocery store before anyone else is there, all the shelves are stocked with everything and it's so peaceful.

  6. I am so amazed that Mason will sleep that late. My kids are good sleepers these days, but he's a rock star. Cam has struggled sleeping much past 7:00 at this point. Sleep in kid! You guys always have the best times over the weekend!
