{Little Letters // Vol. 6}

It's the second Friday of the month so that means it's time for Little Letters! This is one of my favorite link-ups and is hosted by Kristin at Taz and Belly. I love this link-up because it's fun to break free from the serious for a day and write these fun little letters. And, I love reading other blogger's Little Letters as much as I love to write them. Here are my Little Letters for this month...

Dear Jesus, you are sovereign and my hope is in You.

Dear heart, it's going to be okay. I promise.

Dear Mason, I am loving your little toothless gummy smile, I keep finding reasons to make you smile or laugh because I can't get enough. You're the cutest! Also, I am having the best summer with you so far.

Dear Husband, I love you. I am so happy that you got a new position at work. I can already tell how less stressful it has been. You deserve it.

Dear Lexi, you are just about the cutest little thing I've ever seen. You've been with us a little over 2 weeks and we are 100% in love with you. You were the perfect little addition to our family. But, lets stop with the 1am, 3am, and 5am wake-up calls, okay??

Dear Diesel, oh boy. You are something else. You have taken to the new puppy pretty well. At times you act like she's the most annoying thing on the planet, but then a new dog comes around and you get all terratorial over her. You are hilarious. Also, just so everyone knows...this sweet boy has not been neglected one bit. He's still as spoiled rotten as they come. However, he despises the camera and hides his face so that you can't take any pictures of him. And this is why he's never on my Instagram.

Dear Hurricane Harbor, you were fun! I am so glad I decided to take off and go. Mason had a blast and that made every single moment of it worth it. Dear Jesus, thank you for giving us the most glorious day for this waterpark adventure.

Dear Diet Soda, I am so glad we had that little break-up. It's been a little over 9 weeks now and I am feeling so good. I don't miss you at all.

Dear Texas mosquitoes, GO AWAY! Why do you have to be the size of a bat and attack Mason and I every time we step foot outside?? Ugh! This is one of the only things I dislike about summer-time.

Dear hair/highlights, I am so sorry I've neglected you for so long. I've been overdue for highlights {and probably a trim} for a while now. But my hair has been feeling so healthy and strong and I don't want to ruin that right now with hair color. Oh, that and it has been a little busy around these parts lately.

Dear home office, you seem to be the 'catch-all' room during the summer and it's getting out of hand. I can't believe how fast that happens. There are more dog toys, Legos and other stuff in there than there are office things. I've got to get you under control.

Dear vacation, I am so looking forward to you. I need some mountains and adventures in my life.

Dear No-Reply Bloggers, it seems to have happened again. So many of the comments left on my blog have been no-reply lately. And gmail puts those comments in a different folder that I forget to check. Also, some I can't reply to at all because there is no email left on their blog anywhere. Sorry friends! H E R E is a quick tutorial to check and see if you are a no-reply.

Dear summer, oh how I love you!!! I can't wait to make all kinds of memories and go on a lot of adventures. Please do not fly by. Drag on as slow as you can, okay?

  1. Yay for some summer fun! Last night Baby Fox asked if I was going to take summer break too, and when I told him no I have to work he said well isn't summer for being with family? If I can't be with my family I might as well be in school! So dang cute.

  5. Dear Jesus, amen! I am with you on the summer dragging by. I can't even believe we only have like 8 weeks left. I know it is going to pass by SO fast and when August comes we'll start getting ready to move and life is going to explode. So more than ever I REALLY want to soak up this time. I hope you are having a great Sunday beautiful friend.

  6. Sooooo, the internet just ate my blog comment. The gist of it is: thanks for linking up, congrats on the new pup, and I'm nervous about middle of the night wakeup calls since we get our new little lady in two more weeks!
