{10 Target Challenge}

Time for one of my favorite link-ups, $10 Target Challenge. Target is for sure my happy place and I love any excuse to go shopping there. Sometimes, okay a lot of the time, I don't even make it past the Dollar Spot. Especially when shopping for this challenge. And I love the Target Spot at the beginning of a new year. They put out so many great organizing and planning things. If you know me you know that is my favorite! So, what did I get and did I stay under budget?

Dry Erase board - $3.00
File folders - $1.00
3 packs of note cards (@ $1.00/ea) - $3.00
6 color pen - $1.00
paper clips - $1.00
crayon highlighter - $1.00

subtotal = $10.00
REDcard savings - $.50-
tax - $.78
total = $10.28

I went over by twenty-eight cents! Not too shabby. I got the dry erase board in efforts to keep the boys in my house in the 'know' for our week. We'll see how that goes. I can't wait to send out some snailmail with these adorable notecards! I got the pen for Mason to use at church. He loves those pens (and crayons) with multiple colors all in one. And the crayon highlighter I use in my bible. I've since gone back and bought a couple more because I love them so much! They highlight without bleeding through the pages and they highlight so soft and pretty. And the paperclips I will use in my planner and wherever else...they were too cute to pass up!

What is your favorite most recent Target find?

  17. I have so many notecards from previous trips ... like once I got $10 worth of cards because I was out and now I'm stocked up. I need to mail more snailmail so I use them and then can shop the current selection.

  20. I have searched high and low for those paper clips! I saw another blogger post about them and knew I had to have them! Unfortunately, apparently everyone in my town is wanting them too because they are no where to be found! :(.

  22. OH man, the dollar section at Target is killing it for January. I just got some adorable little ceramic canister things (I don't know how else to describe them, hah!) for my bathroom there last time! I seriously filled my cart with a million things and then slowly was like, Ok- I don't need all of this...
