{I confess}

I am not sure if Jess is picking back up her Thursday Confessions link-up this week or not, but I still wanted to post. I love these little random confess sessions.

// No matter how many times {usually several a day} Mason calls me his sweet girl or his best girl I melt completely. I mean, it's my favorite thing ever. He's my favorite.

// I totally LOVE being a soccer mom. Love it.

// I hope Mason continues playing soccer...but he is more interested in starting karate.

// Two of my dearest friends {met online, became in real life friends} are coming down the weekend of Mason's birthday party and I am ecstatic. Like over the moon excited.

// We are on the homestretch of our Kindergarten school year and I am starting to get sad about it. First grade means we move to a new school where we know NOBODY at {meaning staff}. The school we are at now is amazing and had the most incredible employees. Many of them even go to our church. We will miss them something fierce.

// My poor car hasn't been washed or cleaned on the inside in months. It's pitiful.

// I took the boys to the park on Tuesday after school and we had the greatest time! I can't wait for more park adventures.

// I kind of want a mini-van. I've always heard they are great, but I rode in one the other night on the way to our ladies night {with church friends} and I saw what all the hype was about. They are so roomy and comfy and just cool!

// Diesel finally got a haircut last week and he looks so cute. But I have to admit, I was so embarrassed taking him to his grooming appt. You never know how bad it looks until you're going to get it fixed. I promise we love him!!

// We haven't done any home DIYs in a while and it's driving me crazy. I'm itching to start a new project,

// I have been taking a lot of photos with my big camera lately. I love to get out there and practice and getting to know my camera. BUT all of my photos seem to have some kind of tint to them; green, blue, orange, etc. instead of the bright white photos. It's bugging the crud out of me that I can't figure it out.

What are you confessing today?

  2. hahahah the mini van thing cracks me up. my brother was always so adamant that he was never going to have a van EVER. once his third baby was born and they needed room for 2 carseats and a booster, he checked in suv's and such... and then went with a mini van because "they were the best option". i about died! they are nice, but the cliche around having a mini van is just funny.

  3. Oh my goodness, I love that Mason calls you his sweet girl or his best girl! Melt my heart! My car is a disaster right now. I probably haven't washed it in almost a year. There is so much salt on it from the winter, it'll probably take some serious scrubbing to get it off. I did, however, clean my interior last night and I'm excited about that! :) How often do you take Diesel to be groomed? Leonidas needs a hair cut desperately. I think it's been 10 weeks. I'm a terrible dog mom.

  4. I always call my 4 year old son My Muffin Man & the other day he called me his Muffin Girl, and I melted, too! Little boys are the best!!! Don't worry about your car, mine is probably worse. We got in to go to church last night & my son said, "Mom, I see some candy corn under the mat. Can I eat it?" Ummm...we haven't had candy corn since October!

  5. My car is a hot mess, too! I'm just sad that Kindergarten is done all together.. H will still be at the same school, but I feel he's getting too big too fast!

  7. I want a minivan too but not sure it's warranted with only one child over here lol! So strange about the tint with you DSLR. Did it just start happening?

  8. The ONLY reason my car isn't a hot mess right now is because I went to Vegas and knew I was going to be carting around a bunch of ladies. Other then that usually you can't even see the floor because there are so many toys and blankies. And the picture thing, have you tried adjusting your White balance? On my Canon camera, it's sometimes on auto, but then when it starts doing that color thing, I can change it to tell it I'm outside in the sun, in the shade, in clouds and can do the same with the lighting inside it has a mode for Tungstun Light and white fluorescent light. Try changing those settings?

  9. Some of those minivans are super posh and fancy! Though, I still dream of getting a bigger SUV one day, that would be my dream car. Who knows, maybe one day it'll happen?

  10. So I always swore I would never ever drive a minivan, but before having Emmy and realizing we needs a larger vehicle for trips to visit family, etc Drew talked me into just test driving and I was hooked. I LOVE my van. I know I won't drive it forever and can something cooler in my next vehicle, but seriously it is amazing. The space, comforts, and more. Do it!! :)

  11. I want an SUV for when Connor is older and plays sports and has friends that need ride. My current car is perfect for the right now but not for the long haul.

  12. BRIAN'S first car was a mini van and he still mourns the day he sold it lol. He definitely enjoyed all the room and this was pre kids, isnt that funny?!

  13. Wyatt will sometimes call Sean 'babe', or call Stella 'baby girl'...just because he hears me say it so often. I think it's the cutest! Now if I can just get him to start calling me something sweet! ;)

  14. Scott keeps insisting that we get a van, but I can't quite pull the trigger on it.
I never wash my car - inside or out. Scott is always left to do that duty, and I'm not one bit mad about it. :)

  15. YES!!! Mini van! We rented one the other weekend for the bridal shower I went to and HOLY LEG ROOM in the middle seats! I swear I was so obsessed with it. I even texted Seth about it and he thought I was crazy. I have a whole new respect for mini vans though now. Actually, I may need to confess this on my post next week.

  16. Sweet girl I think that would make any mama swoon just a bit. You mini-van comment made me lol. So funny. I like my SUV, but I am just not a mini-van kind of lady. Yay for friends coming. I bet you are going to have a blast!
