{Hooray, it's Opening Day!!! // Go Rangers!!}

It's that time of the year...
The absolute greatest time of the year....
IT'S BASEBALL SEASON!!!!

Go Rangers!!

There is just nothing quite as fun as being at a Ranger game.
The sound of the ball hitting the bat.
The people chanting "Lets go Rangers".
The smell of ballpark food.
Watching the fireworks after a Ranger home-run.
Hearing all the "Texas" songs.
The intensity of a pitcher throwing a no hitter.
Or a shut-out game.

It's our favorite past-time.

Unfortunately for us, this year we will be cheering on the Rangers on Opening Day at home. This is like the first time in 7+ years that we will not be attending Opening Day! We always get tickets through Nate's work and go with a bunch of about 50 or more. This year I opted out of going for the sake of being able to take Mason to school and pick him up. {talk about taking one for the team!!] I didn't want to have to make arrangements for him. Nate gave his ticket to a friend and was going to go with him, But then just last week Nate decided that he didn't want to go if I couldn't go and gave his ticket to the same friend. Bummer! I was excited that Nate could still go and was hoping he would take some pictures for me. But, I guess it is sweet that he didn't want to go without me.

But, we will still cheer on our Rangers all the same!

Hooray, it's Opening Day!!!

Who will you be cheering for this season?

  1. Oh my, Mason is adorable! And yay for baseball season being here. I'm so sad we don't live in Seattke anymore because I always envisioned taking my boys to Mariners games. But we do have a good minor league team here, so we may it to those!

  9. Mason is so cute (and ridiculously grown up)!! And I hear you about missing opening day, we missed for the first time in forever two years ago (but I guess being in labor was a good excuse) and we didn't make it last year either. And I'm hoping baby boy 2 decides to arrive next Monday during the home opener in STL!

  16. Cutest little Rangers fan ever!!! I fully support your love for the Rangers... until they play the Angels LOL. But seriously, we should meet up for a game one day!! Might have to wait until we're old and gray and can travel whenever we want :)

  17. So much and yes! I would love to make it to a pro ball game this year but I would even settle to a visit to a minor league game. Mason is such a cute baseball fan. Does he play baseball too?
