{New Years Eve 2018 // New Years Day 2019}

The older I get the more I am all for a low-key New Years Eve with my family. What better way to ring in the New Year than with the people I love the most? We pretty much stayed in pajamas all day on New Year's Eve and it was glorious! We were just hanging out at home when Mason grabs his phone around 8pm and calls his Nana to ask if we could come over because "it's tradition to be at your house on New Years". He's so my kid. Those traditions are important to us. So off to Nana's we went...

We finished watching a movie they had started on Netflix and then began watching the countdown on TV. Nana made Mason an ice cream sundae because why the heck not?? She's so cute and I love the way she loves my sweet boy!! She always makes things so special and for that I am thankful.

Nana passed out noisemakers and sparkling juice just before the clock struck midnight! Mason started hopping on one leg so he could "start the new year off on the right foot!" I love this kid! I posted a video below of him doing this. And my sweet gave me a New Years kiss. I feel so blessed to have received those kisses from him for 23 years now!

New Years day was rainy, cold and dreary. We finally got out for a late lunch and then visited a new coffee shop right down the road from us called Three Rivers. It was delicious and Mason was excited they had a drink perfect for him...Butterbeer! He loved it and can't wait to go back. The rest of the evening was spent in pajamas at home.

Happy New Year! Hope it's off to a great start!!
