{Polar Express 2018 // Camping}

I mentioned yesterday (post here) that a couple of weekends ago we loaded up and headed east for our annual Polar Express weekend! Yes, we go in November for a couple of reasons. 1.) It's not as crowded as it is in December and 2.) Our Decembers are already full to the brim and we need more than just a month for all of the Christmas things. And, I secretly (or not so secretly) love that we get a jumpstart on our Christmas festivities!!

We camped at a little country RV park in Palestine and it was just beautiful! This was our 2nd time to stay at this RV park and I am sure it will not be the last. It was late when we got in on Friday so we just went to supper and then came back and went to bed. Saturday morning Mason's elves arrived and made him the happiest kid ever! They brought him new pajamas to wear on the Polar Express and some other goodies!

Four of us went into town to do some shopping while waiting for the other 3 members of the family get into town. Then we all went to lunch at a Mexican food place we always go to. It never disappoints. Dare I say it gets better each year? We came back to the camper to hang out for a bit before getting ready for the Polar Express ride! It's becoming a tradition for them to join us during our Polar Express weekend!

Next up...Polar Express train ride!
