{This past weekend...}

Happy Monday!! Another good weekend in the books. We didn't have as many plans, but still managed to fill the weekend. Funny how that happens. But, when you fill it with friend, family and church time you really can't complain! Here is a peek at our weekend...

...this past weekend we invited some friends from church to dinner. We ate at Mellow Mushroom and had such a great time! They have a 5 year old daughter and she and Mason play well together. 3

...this past weekend Nate and I were ready for bed and Mason wasn't. He wanted to play on his iPad. Nate told him that he could play it as long as he was in his own bed. Well, fast forward to 3:00 am when Mason comes crawling into this bed. I hoped he had fallen asleep and woke to come in there. Nope, that boy played on his iPad until 3:00am when the battery finally died. Oh my word y'all! #neveragainwillwemakethatmistake

...this past weekend Mason slept in until after 11 because of his late night the night before. And that's only because we finally woke him!

...this past weekend Nathan took me to the vinyl store and the t-shirt shop so that I could stock up on materials for Cricut projects!

...this past weekend we also visited a kayak shop that was less than a mile from the vinyl store.

...this past weekend we went and visited Nate's Grandparents at their new apartment (they moved into a senior living facility). They seem so happy there and it makes us happy! NeNaw gave us a tour of the facility and we took their pup out to run around in the courtyard.

...this past weekend NeNaw introduce us to her new friend. She was as sweet as could be. She gave Mason all kinds of fun things from their recent "mardi gras" night there. She also loaded him up with candy {that she was giving up for lent} and gave us a list of the things she was going to crochet for us! Love her. And so glad NeNaw has made a friend at her new home.

...this past weekend we went home and I made Nate's mom and I a "Happy Camper" shirt with my Cricut. I love the way they came out! And I was excited about them that we went to Nate's parent's house to deliver the shirt. {driving they only live 1/2 a mile away, but it was too wet to walk through the properties}

...this past weekend we went to church and heard a great sermon by one of our Elders. It was so convicting and such a blessing to hear. #ilovemychurch

...this past weekend we went to lunch after church. We tried a new little diner, but it was so busy and there were no tables. So we settled on Dairy Queen. Mason didn't mind the change because there was ice cream at DQ!

...this past weekend I got a ton of laundry done and put away before I had to leave for my nail appointment.

...this past weekend I got the slowest and roughest nail technician in the whole place. It took her almost 2 hours to do my dip nails and she hurt me so many times! Yikes! At least my nails are pretty now and ready for Spring Break!

...this past weekend we had supper with my in-laws! It was a great evening!

And that's a wrap on our weekend. How was yours? Do anything exciting?

  3. We started t-ball over in our neck of the woods. Opening ceremonies is no joke and they did picture plus a game all in the same day, so it was a full day of baseball, but Baby Fox loved every moment.

  8. That Happy Camper shirt is SO cute!!! You've really been doing some amazing stuff with your Cricut!
    Also, my goodness, Mason!!! I bet my Mason would do the exact same thing if I let him. We have to take the iPad away before bath time or the kid goes crazy! haha!

  9. Nathan is such a keeper that he took you shopping to get more supplies for your Cricut! My nephew does the same things with his ipad. My sister in law has to take it away or he'd be up all night. Goodness kids! I LOVE the happy camper shirt. You are so talented!

  11. I'm a new blogger, TX girl, have a 6 year old name Mason and I'm a crafter, too! (I have an Etsy shop and do mainly wood signs, drinkware and burlap prints). I've only made a few tshirts. I always have plans to make myself some and then I get distracted .5 seconds later and forget. haha. :) www.thatinspiredchick.blogspot.com if you want to come by!

  16. So many things to comment on! I love your nails... especially the glittery gold accent nail! And your happy camper shirt is amazing! I might be begging you to make me shirts from now on! And finally, we've had a similar problem with Noah and the late night iPad! After a late nap, Noah wasn't tired, but I was exhausted. I told him as long as he stayed quiet and let me sleep he could watch iPad. I fell asleep and next thing I know it's the middle of the night and he's still watching it! Crazy kids!
