{Three Things // Currently}

Time for a good ol' random catch-up/currently post! It's been so busy lately that I've hardly had time to just blog about life. That's usually how it goes, right? So many people have asked me where we have been due to my lack of presence on social media and I just keep saying 'life, man!' We've just been busy living and doing and I haven't even had time to post on social media. But, life is good y'all. Busy, but oh so good. Anyhow...here's a little of what we have been up to lately.

Three Things:

1.} SPRING BREAK!!! And all the people said Amen! Hallelujah, praise Jesus! We all need this break so dang bad! Work has been wearing Nathan down, Mason is more than over school and I just need a break from all of the work at home mom responsibilities. I pray that we are able to soak up every single moment of this break and to use it as a time to refocus and refresh! At least enough to carry us into summer.

2.} Speaking of Spring Break, we are going some where new for all of us. I mean, we are no strangers to the Texas Hill Country, but we have never camped at this lake resort nor been to the town. We are so much looking forward to it. All of the pictures online look beautiful and friends have told us how nice it is. We'll be a quick drive from San Antonio, so we are for sure spending some time there. Mason is so excited to see the Alamo and we're excited to eat at Mi Tierra's.

3.} We are ready for some sunshine and to get outside and play. I hate staying cooped up indoors during the winter months. Bring on the sunshine, hikes, picture taking, adventuring and exploring!!

Sorry, I apparently only have Spring Break on the brain!!

Currently:

Praying for: my sweet mama. She has some stuff going on with her thyroid and will have to take radiation pills soon to kill her thyroid. Hearing the words 'mom's oncologist' is not something I ever want to hear ever again!

Thanking: Jesus. You deserve our every last breath and every praise that comes out of us.

Loving: Church, our church family, my Lauren Daigle Pandora station, The Magnolia Story, sunshine, seeing bright spring colors everywhere, making shirts with my Cricut, my boys and just life in general.

Not loving: These dang allergies. Ugh! Welcome springtime in Texas. Wait, is it officially spring yet? Or does it just feel that way?

Reading: The Magnolia Story and The Bait of Satan.

Listening to: KLTY, the Lauren Daigle Pandora station, and Even If on repeat.

Watching: a whole lot of nothing! No time for TV lately. It took me over 2 weeks to catch up on 5 episodes of Chicago Fire!

Missing: My sweet Diesel boy. He didn't come with us on this trip.

Needing: More of Jesus!!!

Looking forward to: Seeing God work in our church, deepening relationships, and something very exciting I get to be a part of soon. More to come!

What have you been up to currently?

  2. How fun! What a great Spring break. Prayers to your mama. ON another note, we're looking to get camping stuff, now that our youngest is old enough to go camping. Do you have a favorite brand tent? Any other must haves?

  4. We are on Spring Break during this upcoming week and it is all over my mind. I couldn't even sleep last night to contain the excitement. I'm excited to do some fun activities with Jack. We aren't going anywhere and I have a few appointments that I have to take care of but we are still going to fit in lots of fun things right here in our backyard.
