How are you keeping cool this summer?

It has officially hit that time of year when I start wishing for Fall. We're in the triple digits around here {& lets not even talk about the heat index} and the humidity is at it's very peak. You can't go outside without feeling sticky and gross. It's hot and we're finding any and every way that we can keep cool. Thank God for little blow-up pools {and popsicles}...they are our saving grace this summer.

Girl, I'm wishing for fall as well! I HATE August with a passion. It's my least favorite month of the whole year aside from February. It's just too dang hot down here and I always find myself longing for fall. I'm counting down the days!
ReplyDeleteIt’s been super hot and sticky here in PA too - I can only imagine how miserable it must be in TX! I love your photos of Mason in his pool. He always looks like he’s having a great time!
ReplyDeleteMason has got this summer thing down. ;)
ReplyDeleteI do complain about this crazy heat on occasion, but then winter comes along and I curse myself for ever thinking such horrible thoughts! I'm such a summer-lovin girl, but 85-degree days would be ideal. :)
ReplyDeleteI love the pictures! It certainly looks like he's beating the heat quite well! We've been in the nineties with crazy humidity the past two weeks, but I'm not quite ready for Fall. I have family in Texas and every time they come up to Pittsburgh in the Summer they always say the heat is worse here, only because of the suffocating humidity!
ReplyDeleteBlow up pools are my jam! How we could summer without one is beyond me! We just couldn't!
ReplyDeleteOur heat isnt nearly as crippling as yours but pool parties are a favorite summer activity here too! And by "pool" I mean a little plastic wadding pool ;)
ReplyDeleteWe have been LIVING at our pool and eating our weight in popsicles and drumsticks!
ReplyDeleteSo fun!!! I love Mason and his cute little inner tube. It's been super hot here too and if I had room for it, I'd totally get a blow up pool. We have a grass patch that I could set it up but it's kind of far from my house and I don't think my hose could reach. We just keep crashing my sister in law and my mother in law's pools instead!
ReplyDeleteI am with you on Fall, I am ready for everything that comes along with it. Mason really knows how to swim/relax in a mini pool. I am jealous of him!
ReplyDeleteOh man I feel the pain. It has been hot hear staying a few degrees cooler. I CAN'T even imagine what it is like for y'all!
ReplyDeleteI just stay inside. lol. Lazy, I know! But I love your pictures!
ReplyDeleteWell now I feel like a baby complaining about the heat here! We do get high 90s with crazy humidity on top, and I can't even stand walking from the car to an air conditioned store! Pools are where it's at!!!
ReplyDeleteYou always take the best pictures! I love all these of Mason in his blow up pool. Girl, we're either at my parent's in the pool or we're in the air conditioning because it's been 100 degrees + here lately, too. I'm hoping for a rainy day soon.
ReplyDeleteLove the pics! My boys are in the blow up pool as I type! Oh, summer!
