Our first project wasn't Pinterest inspired...but I am sure it's on there somewhere in some form or fashion. Nate made me a table out of an old pallet. It was in pretty good condition and fairly straight so it made a good table. He took and old 4x8 and cut four even legs and nailed them on. Took him maybe 10 minutes at the most. I will keep it outside on our porch.
Side note - Mason totally took credit for this. He said, "Mama look what I built you all by myself." haha
After Nate made this one I told him I had a Pinterest pin saved and that I'd like to do it with another pallet we had laying around. So we went and bought paint on Saturday and started this project on Sunday. This one was a little more tedious and took longer because we had to do one piece at a time. I used my Cricut to cut out the star that we used as a stencil. I was so happy with this piece! I love it on my front porch.
Have you worked on any projects lately? Share!
That table is great! Esp for a 10 minute project and perfect for outside. Mason did a great job all by himself =) The flag is super cute though, looks great on your front porch. Very Texas.

ReplyDeleteAwesome projects! I especially love the American Flag replica!
ReplyDeleteI NEED to do that American Flag pallet. I am overly, annoyingly obsessed with red, white, and blue!!!!!
ReplyDeleteSo jealous of both! I keep pallets around thinking I'll do projects with them, don't and get rid of them then wish I had then all over again. I'm a creative person trapped in a lazy body! Lol
