{Father/Son time}

Mason and I get a lot of one on one time. Nathan has to leave our house by 5:15am in the morning to make it to work on time. He is part of a state-issued van pool. It's been a blessing to us because it's gas money that we save as well as wear and tear on our vehicle. The only downfall is the hours he is gone - 5:15am - 6:00pm. Therefore, I wake up Mason, get him ready, take him to school and then I pick him up in the afternoon and we have about an hour together before Daddy gets home. It's time that I wouldn't trade for anything in the world.

But, when Daddy gets home I like to sit back and let them have some time together. It's important and I know that they both need it. Whether it's playing outside, driving hotwheels in the floor, or watching Monster Truck videos online; it's time they both need and love.
More often than not I hang out in the background and snap pictures. And? They are kind of my favorite.

See the smile it puts on my sweet boy's face?

 Warms my heart so much! Mason's face lights up when Daddy gets home from work. And Daddy? Thinks this little boy hung the moon {he did, but still!}.

They are my entire world.

  1. I love love love daddy son time! When Hayes had a cold last week, he was so cute, all he wanted to do was snuggle up with Chris and his stuffed animal doggie.
